Tractor
LS S3010
Just bought one of them new/blue tractors (LS S3010) yesterday. Did most of my research before I bought it on TBN and thought I best give something back. Of course, now I need to learn how to use it. See ya'll in the forums.

Welcome to TBN! Will you be using the new blue tractor inside the loop?

Nah, I've got 12 acres up in San Jacinto county that needs tending. But who knows, someday I might need to do a little work on the ol' homestead down here in H-town.

Enjoy it and be careful plowing up loop 610
:D

If I ever do that it'll be because the **** thing fell of the trailer as I was hauling it! At 3k lbs. (with the FEL) it ought to plow up something before it comes to a stop.

Just remember, it's supposed to be fun. :D
I have to remind myself of that quite often when things don't always work out like I thought they would.

We have a lot in common, I too live in H town, bought my property and tractor 2 years ago, different color tractor, different county for the land. I can tell you there is a lot to learn!!! Getting stuck for example, right now my tractor is 3 feet deep in the mud 150 miles from here and I am waiting for it to dry up some to get it out. Anyway, anything to do with some land and a tractor can't be all bad, just remember to take your time and have some fun!

I had a sort of "trial by fire" lesson when they delivered mine. The truck and trailer got stuck in the mud driving onto the property. We ended up having to off-load the tractor to pull him back out the way he came. Guess it wasn't as bad as your place though as the 4WD and granny gear got it out. BUT we made a pretty big mess of the place. Yeah, I definitely need to spend some time going over the finer details of using that thing, but I'm really looking forward to it. Right now I'm just reading anything I can find on the subject. Too bad you're in a different county as otherwise I might be able to help you get that sucker out. 3 feet down I would be setting on my rear axle! And with all this new rain it may be sitting there for a spell yet. Good luck with it!
