Received this letter today , reguarding my GC2410 TLB, i bought in Feb 2009. Any one taken there tractor in yet...Ray.....

What's it say? Although mine's an 07 2310, there have been some problems with neutral return on that model as well.... I'd like to read about it.

It said they have identified an improvement to be made to the Massey Ferguson Tractor which our records indicate you have purchased. We want to update your equipment, your dealer has been informed of this update campaign on Service Bulletin "FC6187- Hydrostat Pedal Returning to Neutral, contact your dealer to set up time to have work done. This has not happen to me, but calling dealer Monday to set up a time to get it updated. Irvingj how often has your tractor done this, would contact your dealer and ask them about it. Ray.......

I have a 07 gc2300 as well and wondering what that service bulletin has to say about the return pedal on your's.Larry

Not a huge issue, if you're aware of it, but often pedal (single rocker-type) needs to be "tapped" to get it to return to neutral; it'll often creep along --forward or reverse-- if foot is removed gently. Conversely, if going in reverse, at speed, and foot is quickly lifted from pedal, it's likely to go past neutral into forward. Makes for great doughnuts --backwards-- when blowing snow!

I've pretty much learned to live with it....

I haven't received any formal notice as yet but have had discussions about with my dealer for a few months about my return to neutral problem and the accompanying safety issue. When my blower was being installed last month the tech indicated my tractor was the worst he's seen for the pedal return to neutral issues and the fix is obvisously welcomed. My dealer had the kits in stock awhile ago but had to schedule a couple installs before they could ascertain whether this would an in-shop fix only or something which could be performed in the field. It also sounds like any cabs installed on the tractor need to be removed prior to initiating the fix. It's all covered under warranty and from the information I could gather it appears all 2009 gc series tractors will be scheduled for the fix, perhaps more I don't know.

Does anyone have a site to view this service bulletin? Mine is a 2008, 2610 and it doen't always return to nutral when I relelease the forward pedal. I though it was by design but now you got me thinking. I have found that a light tap on the reverse pedal seems to correct the condition.

I rec'd my notice last week (2008 GC2410) and glad this is being addressed. Mine would creep forward occasionaly but I typically would just shoot a little grease in the fittings and it would stop the creep (sounds like a disease). At first I assumed it might just need "broken in", but after the second time I started to wonder if it was worth bringing to the dealers attention, and I guess now I know the answer.

Talked to my dealer today, told me it has to do with some linkage adjustment and new part replacement. Was told only about 20% of tractor's having issue, but enough to fix all. Setting up time to have my tractor done. Ray......
