Hey guys. I picked up a 16 foot bumper pull trailer back in the fall. I got a good deal on it, for it needed some minor work. I've got most everything wrapped up, and will be painting it shortly.

Right now it has accent stripes that run horizontally on the floor channel, fenders, and tongue A-frame.

When I repaint it, what will be the best way to repaint those stripes? Is it painted with a brush; should I just make a tape line and follow it?

Does anyone know how the manufacturers do it?

Thanks in advance!

In the automotive painting world it's called pin stripping.

pinstripping,, I never done it, but I admire the way the artists do it by hand with small long thin paint brush on shows like overhauling. Do you really want pinstriping on your trailer?

what about the pin striping sticker you can buy at auto part stores? while they may not look as good as a pro painted on they might look better than a non pro that painted.:D
