I do not recommend them. Def go with deere or Kubota
With all the people that like their Kioti I would say buy one if you have a dealer that is good and close to you.

How is the content of my posts comical?;)
Well, the way you change your story and go from one extreme to the other is quite comical. Just has pointed out by TBDonnelly and the two quotes above.
So just to set the record straight, you are now recommending Kioti, right? :D

Brush piles usually have stumps in them at least here in South East Texas. I figured that was a given. After everyone jumped on the band wagon that the mighty Kioti could surely tackle Mt Everest. I figure I needed to make myself more clear.;)

Since everyone here has defended Kioti till the death if he is wanting to save money and since my experience seems to be the only negative one. Then yea my one bad experience doesn't out weigh the good. So yes I would recommend them on that. Personally will I go out and buy one? No I'd rather save a few extra pennies and buy a Kubota or a Deere.:D

And to clarify I prefer Deere over Kubota because of the Hydraulics.

Complete, I was just curious as to whether or not you could let us know which model of JD or Kubota has more capability than the KL401 loader that comes on the Kioti DK40SE? I don't know because I only look at the CUT's and I know the LA854 on the Kubota 5740 doesn't do it. The 41 horse Kioti out lifts it. How about a John Deere? What does it take? A 70 horse power tractor to out lift the 41 horse power Kioti?

I think any of the tractors you list are top shelf. Two years ago I hung around here with an ear to the track. Unscientific, yes but my assessment at that time was that Kioti owners were as happy as the owners of the JD's and Kubotas maybe even mor so. The money saved with my purchase of the smallest Kioti on the block was just the icing on the cake. Yup, that little CK20 even dared push on a brush pile or two and bent absolutely nothing. I think this tractor which now has 450 hours of blowing snow and digging stumps is as solid as they come in it's class. On top of that, grab a fender on a little CK-20 sometime. It's just an example of just how stout these Kioti's have been. JD and Kubota are great tractors and so is my Kioti.

Do you really think anyone is going to believe that a pile of brush folded a 45HP tractors loader arms like a paper clip? Especially the Kioti's monstrous KL401 loader with over 2,700lbs of lift! Also, I did read the content of your posts. It's as comical as this one. :D

rtimgray, I am getting very good at Photoshop. Check out the well tile I strapped to the loader, removed from the truck and lowered into the ground all from the seat of my computer. :D I assumed you were joking. :D

I have to come to the defense of these Kioti owners. I have a Koyker loader on a Jinma 284 and have lifted very similar loads. I have put a 2,000# plus pieces of steel on a trailer, lifted the front end of a 3/4 ton Dodge Van, ect. I am sure a comparable size Kioti could lift anything pictured and then some.

John Deere 5103 45hp engine (38hp)pto with 512 loader is 2200lbs lift capacity.

John Deere 5325 67hp engine (55hp)pto with 522 loader is 2731lbs lift capacity

Sometimes having a dealer 'good and close to you' is a bit overated. Preferred yes, but overated. Many of us are weekend warriors who only put 100 to 150 hours a year on our tractors and do have a clue which end of a wrench to use. We get along fine without having a dealer down the street. If your tractor is your livelyhood, local dealer availability is much higher on the list. It's a personal choice and there's not one answer that applies to all.

Am I understanding that you need a 67HP JD to lift 15 more pounds than a 41HP Kioti? Must be missing something....

There are more variables than just the engine HP :D
