Before summer dries everything out it is a good idea to get the high air intake kit , it will save your air cleaner from getting filled with dust kicked up by the wheels.

That's good to know, I was wondering how bad these thing depreciated. Are they generally more concerned with hours on the machine like a tractor or by year like a normal ATV?

From what I can see, anything made by a name brand tractor company tends to hold a pretty good number.

TIMSWI congratultions on the upgrade. That sounds like a awesome machine. The air/heat is way to cool!!!! I have to say I hope for better results but i think your gonna find the same low power on the 1100....Keep us posted and if you like it i may get me one. My 500 is ok and im gonna hang onto it for another year then leaning toward the polaris ranger 800 xp. Keep us updated with a no bias honest review.......enjoy that awesome new 1100.....Im jealous.

I'll do that 737. I test drove it and it kinda runs like my BX. Not fast but loads of torque. high range is probably useless on anything but flat surfaces. it does have a mid range, so that's kind of nice.

Being delivered Saturday, so i'll have a report this weekend. I hope it's a good one too.

I put 50% down, so i have a way out if it's a dud..Not that I even want to think about that.

If you're looking, the prices are a good way under the MSRP on Kubota's web site. In fact a Polaris with a full cab and snow plow isn't materally cheaper, and it doesn't have climate control, and I don't believe it has a power dump bed either. 0% financing told me to hang on some of my cash and use theirs for a little while.

The sad part is that the 500 is running pretty good now (for what it is) after the "tuner" stuff that I did. in fact, I was pleasantly surprised how well it handled the snow. I actually had to think really hard as to whether I really wanted to get rid of it. Six months ago, I was ready to burn it.

I agree with you TIMSWI with my 500 its a love hate relationship but i like the little thing and its great for someone not in a hurry and is easy to drive. The gas milage can't be beat. I load up my threee dogs in the back and we head to the lake for a swimm everyday. I think they like it better than me. Never had a rpm guage to check the adjusment i made but the servo adjusmnent made alot of difference.

Pick up a Sears Professional timing light. All you have to do is hook it up to the battery and one of the plug wires..no need to worry about the negative side of the ignition like the old ones. bring up the max RPM's to 4,000. With the Servo and throttle cable adjustments, it's like night and day..Trust me., you'll see a serious difference, especially when it's at operating temp. I use premium gas too.

I'm more to the "love" side than hate at this point (although I believe I could have gotten more out of it), or there's no way i would have bought another Kubota SxS. Especially one that costs this much.

TIMSWI thanks for the tip. Im gonna pick one up tommorrow and check the rpm...You got one fine machine coming in the morning....Just put some Alabama Roll Tide Flags on the window and it will be perfect. My hunting patner has a 900 that he loves but its older than mine and he only has 25hrs mine has almost 200hrs. I'm taking it to the canvas shop to get a custom enclosure with doors and back windshield. A little plug in heater and next winter its going to be really warm....The hot summmer you got me.....not much I can do about that. The A/C is definately going to be nice. You got me thinking about trading mine in now...

The flages are a must:D

When you look for that timing light, make sure it has a built in tach. Runs about $100.

nice additions you're making with the doors and all. The heater sure will be nice.
