Your towing rigs and trailers

Thanks, everyone wonders why I don't put a flatbed on it for work duty, but to me that would ruin the look. Its set up now about how I think it should have been from the factory, and it will stay that way.

A flatbed would ruin that truck.

It is tough to pull off a flatbed with SRW IMO.

I have to differ, Duffster. No, really, personally, I've seen some SRW trucks that look good with a flatbed on them. All of those have been 4WD and the flatbed was made to the correct width to fit the SRW truck. I've seen some 2WD's that didn't look good at all!? Must be the more level truck or suspension of 4WD or something. IMO.

I said it is tough, not impossible. :)

You are right about building them the right width to match, the goofy looking ones are to wide for the truck.

Who needs a trailer??? My brother did this some years back as a publicity stunt for his mechanic business. The old Ford handled the little suzuki just fine.

I recently added another trailer to the yard only this one's made for traveling. She's about 5k lbs empty and 8k max GVWR but the ole RAM 1500 HEMI pulls it like a dream. Also, having the trailer brake connector wired from the factory made it pretty easy to install. She sat level without the weight distribution hitch but the bumps made the front end a little light so I installed the hitch and what a difference it makes.
