tractor factor- I had one of those poly ones- Until one day I was filling it upright and dropped it. Cracked the poly roller. can you say pissed!? Ended up taking a old air compressor tank and made a roller out of it, smaller then the poly one I had. Better then nothing right ? right now I don't know if I should get a metal roller or a overseeder. (you can blame john thomas for that one). i bought the poly roller thinking it will never rust and I'll just drian it every year.

Hmmmm- I just thought of something while typing this- maybe I should've filled the poly roller with rimgaurd (beet juice) and be done with it. heavier then water, won't freeze. Now I know I'm kicking myself!

Where can one find a roller? It seems like a lot of people home-make them of of old "stuff", but I can't seem to find any that are made to attach to a 3-pt hitch.

No need for the 3 pt... just pin it to the drawbar

I didnt make one for the 3 pt, and I am not sure if I wanted to. I'd rather the roller to be able to roll side to side where a 3 pt hitch the roller will lift on the high side and the low side will not be smoothed out. I would have to engineer something to make it free floating so to speak.
