Agree. Unless all your work is on sub 1/2 acre lots and on townhomes, a commercial venture would be better served by a B of any size.Sub compacts are great homeowner machines, they just have too many limitations for any commercial work.
That was my only frame of reference as well...a shovel, post hole digger, wagon, and old MonkeyWard tractor to pull the wagon around. Needless to say, I was smitten from day one and use it for so many tasks it is irreplacable, even if we move to a smaller lot. I'd have to move into an apartment to get rid of my tractor.I have a BX24 and the only thing I have to compare it to is a spade.
But if I maintained a lot any bigger than, say, 3 acres, I'd strongly consider a B. I'm on 2 acres now, but only really maintain 1 acre. The BX is perfect for that. My cousin is on 5 acres and mows 4 with his ZD21. My BX would get lost on his property. He borrows his neighbor's old B21 when he needs to dig a hole and something that size seems about right for him.
