You should try night golf!!!
we did it on Parris Island one time... we stopped when the alligator got the ball....

Of course I seem to remember about 2 years later they killed the gator as it liked to chase golf carts away from the pond. Never understood why they let is live there so long.. It was about 7 feet when they killed it..

Alas-- this is not the purpose of this thread...... :ashamed:

I was at PI post bootcamp got hurt the week before graduation.. and for 2 tours at MCAS Beaufort...

Golf outings from the Air Station were frequent... Capt's choice, fishing tourneys, and rifle range o rifle range how pretty are your targets! :thumbsup:

Never been to Parris Island, but did have to give a little extra room to a big alligator on a golf course in Corpus Christi, TX, once.

Night golf? I've only done that in Alaska where it didn't get very dark. The first time I played golf in Alaska was after the golf course closed one evening, and my brother told me if I had to go after a ball in the woods, to make plenty of noise, in case there was a bear in there.:shocked: I just figured any balls that went into the woods didn't need to be found.

Don't need it. These lawn mowers are truely automatic and self starting.:laughing:

I did put them away when it was time to leave though. I took out a fence to be able to do some work and they just wandered across into the other pasture rather than eating along the drive. I'll be working to get that fence back in over the next couple of days. Then it's chow time for real.:laughing:

Sorry for the slow response, I had to run back to the ranch because I forgot my glasses. Much better now. I can actually read again.
