I finally started my pond

I'm sure it's just me, but does anybody else have a funny mental picture of Brandi standing in her pond and bubbles coming up from around her legs?

Now that I have cleaned up all the Coca-cola I spewed on my keyboard and monitor when I read this, I can reply to your above post. How can I stand in 11.5 feet of water and have my legs showing?:confused2:
I would rather think of the photo attached. I gotta admit, I have thought of a photo shoot in evening gowns on the Big RED Beast. Years ago, after a night of dancing, I took off my thigh hi boots and put on my rubber boots. My date laughed and asked what I was doing. I said I was going to feed Otis (Booger's older brother) who was tied up while some wounds healed. Now that was a picture!

Is the possibility of oil mist contamination in the air from the compressor going to be a problem?

That is a good question. It is a new compressor, with no oiler in the system. It would only be compressor oil, if any at all. Eventually I will buy one of these Replacement Parts & Accessories - 1/4 Hp Single Piston Compressor
I figure, in the long run, it will run cheaper than my big 60 gallon compressor.

FYI.........one of those little perch I tossed in the pond last spring is still alive and kicking and............about 5 inches long and making a nest. How come this perch lived and my cats all died???:confused2::confused2:

Eddie, that's funny. It's about as funny as my mental picture of you, sitting in the middle of your lake in a row boat with no gun and the shoreline lined with hogs.:laughing: I swear, I've never seen another place with as many hogs as you have.

FYI........I will be having shoulder surgery (I hope) next week. Nothing major, just go in and clean up the area and trim my clavicle. I hurt it back in March.

I don't know if it's from the song, or just East Texas girls, but with all the women I'm meeting, it's amazing how many want to see my tractors and take sexy pictures on them!!! :thumbsup:

Strange thing happened yesterday. I decided to throw the fathead minnows and mosquito fish a handful of catfish food. Imagine my surprise when I saw some blueish grey fins swim up to take a bite or two. Three small Blue catfish. I confirmed it today with another handful of food. Three cats about 5-6 inches long. I am totally amazed by this..........and very happy.

Yes it is. I also see now a 4 inch perch making a nest. I guess it will go into hiding when the new cats arrive on the 21st.
