I restored one just like it last year. I spent a lot of time adding new parts and paint. It worked great until I snagged a hidden rock and then I broke three of the frame bolts. I replaced them and used it again and snagged another rock and broke four more bolts and bent the diagonal frame member and the J shaped main frame. In other words, trashed the whole plow. No, I would never buy another!!! I must say I was pulling it with a 70 horse Kubota, so I overpowered it, I suppose. Regardless, wait on a plow with trip protection so the occasional rock or root will not trash the plow. Now if you are pulling it with something small, and through nice fluffy soil, you would probably be o.k. I now have a three bottom Ford with shear protection, and it works a lot better. I shear pins occasionally but thats a cheap fix.
