How about parts for a 30 or 40 year old riding mower? I got them for my Deere in a couple of days! That's what we mean about parts.

How about parts for a 30 or 40 year old riding mower?...
Probably not...I went for the 790 to get enough PTO HP for a chipper. The 670 didn't have enough and it had more PTO HP the the B7500.
However, if had bought the B7500, I might be running a larger Kubota today instead of the 4400.

I think I can speak for most of us here on TBN site when I say:
We honor your honesty, integrity and wisdom.

BTW:Were on the same side of the fence when it comes to that brand of "tool" in yer vest.
Those mowers were great machines and many are still worth putting (expensive) parts into them....BUT
...The "riding mowers" Deere sells today are not near the quailty they were then...and any young couple etc...that buys one and has problems with it or are not satisfied with it will remember... then, down the road when that same "young couple" buys some land out in the country and finds they could use a tractor... they will remember the "Deere" name in a less than a favorable light...
in the same respect...Deere loyalty will remain in existing families but the market for first time buyers belongs to the most machine for the best price...be it green,orange,red,blue... it is leveling the playing field for developing new brand loyalty...
yes to get a JD mower you have to go to JD dealership, those consumer models are not John Deere's. Never turned a bolt on my 737 ztr.
Now my tractors are Deere. I have yet to order a part I can't order on the spot or next day if I need it bad enough to pay shipping. Some of these tractors are 22 years old. I can't imagine depending on a 15 year old kubota to work a crop
