Based on your description, you have the QI model. You can still be wrong even at age 64.
If you think I have QI ---Good for You---I have no problem with that:thumbsup:[/B]

EZ guys geez one of the things that makes this forum nice is that everyone is polite - Well except Diez.

REALLY:(
I am 64 years old and I have owned, no less, then twenty tractors! I think I know how a tractor lift system works.
First--My post is intended to possibly help someone that dislikes the QI system. Read my post again:thumbsup:
Second--It makes no difference if I pull the leaver to me or away because there are NO stops, other then the adjustable ones that have only ONE STEP.
Idling, or wide open, the lift works the same. I can raise the implement slow or rapid, 1/16" or 2" depending on how fast I move the leaver.
If you think I have QI ---Good for You---I have no problem with that:laughing:

Take a picture of the control and post it on here. That should settle it.

Agree completely.

I can understand the confusion on the QI as the different models have different set ups. Some have adjustable stops and some don't, some work OK and some just so-so. Yes, I am one of the haters.

I believe Giles has position control. I thank him for sharing his oddity and giving hope to those who just don't like the QI system that it might be a simple change to convert a QI to postion control. My B7200 had postion control and my B2620 has QI. Unfortunatley I never compared the two when I had them both at the same time to see what was different between them. I think this thread got a little derailed by all the QI setup questions. If Giles hasn't been run off I wouldn't mind seeing some pics of his rig so maybe we can see what is involved with converting a QI to postion control.

Thanks Giles for sharing,

I am inclined to agree. I am also in my 60's and have driven tractors from an early age and certainly know the difference regardless of what the logo on a control shows. I have tractors with both.

Retrofit may be possible on certain models since some variations within that model has position control such as in the Bxx30 whereas the Bxx20 doesn't. This "may" not be possible in the BX, but if it is, sign me up.

TripleR and BrierPatch---THANKS for appreciating what My post is about:thumbsup:
I have made photos but have never posted a picture---I am working on that now and hope to have them on line soon.
I don't believe a small "conflict" like this is going to discourage my participation in this forum.
One on my life's pleasures is to help people and I feel that this post just might do that.
As I stated, Something may have been changed, done away with, or modified to my B2320.
If I live to be 90 I stand to be corrected--I learn something new almost every day:D

I am glad you will be staying around as I have really learned a lot from the knowledgeable people here.

I retired three years ago after 32 years on the job and to the day I left, I was committed to improving my performance and knowledge base.

I learn something new here all the time.

Posting pictures is fairly easy once you get it to the right size.
