Wood Chipper

I was lookign at this model and wondered if anyone had any thoughts It has a power feed which is somethign Id like to have. I dont chip large stuff just the small limbs thanks

Do you know the country of origin?

Some features on it that don't look very rugged.

I'd want to know a lot more about it before I'd toss that $$$ at it.

Looks Like a Jinma or Jinma copy -- definitely Chinese -- you might want to look up the sponsors like Affordable or Ranchhand on the Chinese tractor forum to see what they have to say if you are serious about buying one -Those types of chippers can be good value or might require mods to operate properly -- JMHO

I just put my Jinma in the barn. I have done several of the upgrades to it. For the money, it is well worth it. If you aren't handy with tools stay away. If you are, they are a joy to use.

What type of 'upgrades' do they need?

I was wondering what the cost of the upgrades were? After the cost of the upgrades what do you think you have in your chipper? I know there are numerous threads regarding these types of chippers and yes they are on the less expensive side, but I've often wondered what the total cost is after the upgrades were done. I would assume it would still be less than what I paid for my Wallenstein BX42 @ $2400 I think it was.
