By the way, how did they get your old BX on that roll back trailer sideways? Should have been fun watching him maneuver it off.

Chris, my wife was shooting the pix. I honestly do not remember. I remember sitting in a lawn chair, beside the garage. Never saw it. I did stand long enough for the "the lever does this" and "this button does that" but cannot remember much of that either. :laughing: Glad that period of my life is over.

Last year when my BX1860 was delivered, a day that should have celebratory, I was sick as a dog. I was to have surgery within a month, but man, I was so sick for the entire thing, including the long orientation "check list" process with the driver, was a bit of a blurr.

So in a way, I intend to enjoy tomorrow, even more than the last year. Much more!

I thought JohnThomas was buying the RTV? Is that his being delivered in the pictures?

Well, time to do my morning chicken chores, clean up and head down the 70 miles to the Kubota dealer. Try to remember to take the dealer a dozen eggs as a gift. Gotta try and remember the camera in case I can get a picture of the tractor.

Wife wants to stop at Home Depot while we're down there too. That can't be good. That can only mean more work. I have the kitchen gutted for a total remodel. I assume this has something to do with that.

Maybe you could figure out a way to use the tractor to help remodel the kitchen. That way both you & SWMBO will both be happy.

There IS something about the first time .. with the tractor I mean.. the delivery guy is gone, you're the only one home, and it's just sitting there waiting.

You climb up, sit there for a minute, just looking at the dash, over the hood, run a hand over a fender.

You think.. "It's really here, and it's mine."

Then you give the key a twist, the diesel rattles into life, and you start getting dirty. And THAT, my friends, is the truth.

Not JohnThomas RTV. He's out on a RTV. Has very little use for one but he'd like to have a B2320 or BX2360 for 3ph use only.
