Taking delivery tomorrow on mine in Central Texas. L3700SUHST, loader, 60" Mohawk rotary cutter, 60" box blade, 84" landscape rake, Metal Sunshade, R4 tires, Kubota Ins - 19,500 delivered.

Howdy guys,
Does anybody know how the pto input shaft is coupled with pto final shaft?
do they still use combination ORC and coupler as shown below? have they improved the design?
does anyone actually looked at the factory service manual and parts breakdown on PTO engagement?

I'm confused i have been to 3 dealers looking at L3700s, no has a L3700 with a quick connect thats a $460.00 option The best price so far is $17,700 with a pin attact FEL. I was offered a L3200 for $15.800
I was looking at the other Orange (Kioti) the CK27 hst is a avery attractive machine at $15,100 but the 6% fianace charge is a real dealbreaker.I could get 0% if I was willing to pay and extra 2 grand.
Can anyone compare the CK27 with the L3200?:confused2:

The loader is quick connect but the bucket is pinned. A quick connect bucket, skid steer style is an option probably the $460 option you're being quoted. All 3700s have quick connect loader assemblies.

I hear you on the loader/bucket. I've paid for one and am awaiting ocean shipment and the dealer told me that while all the loaders were quick disconnect, the bucket was pinned on L3700SU. I guess if you're correct I only come out ahead with the quick bucket.
He also told me that they did not have the loader however and it would be a couple of weeks for them to take delivery so who knows?
I used Florida Coast Equipment and they seem to be a fairly large dealer and had good pricing.

Very strange. All the L3700SUs I saw here in Maryland had an FEL mounted and the bucket was quick connect. The one I bought was that way on the lot. But, if your dealer says that the FEL is coming by ship, by all means believe him.
