4320 cab and 8' garage door

From the floor to the bottom of the trim piece it measures 95.5".... And yes there is a slight incline.

Thanks for the measurement :D

If you do in fact only have 1 inch clearance keep in mind that the height of your tractor isn't going to be constant. There could be variables like snow on the ground, mud/chains on the tires, FEL lifting the rear up, inflation pressure, etc. that could cause the cab to scrape. Just something to consider.

Yes, for sure. Mine actually kinda bounces on the lugs of the R1's when I'm on hard concrete or asphalt.

It's odd that Deere made the rops 1.2 inches over 8 feet, but made the cab 1.5 inches under. I wonder if, since open station came 1st, they realized they were close and got it on the cab.

I assumed (could be wrong) that height difference was because R1 tires are taller than R3 tires.

I would be very leary using a garage opening with less than six inches of clearance, just to many things to go wrong. My 4520 cab has lived outside so far and has never been sick yet.

I have a 4320 cab with industrial tires, my garage is 7ft 11 and I can get in and out fine, I figure I probably have less than 3/8 inch clearance going in and out.

I know what you're saying and leaving it outside probably isn't that big a deal. On the other hand, having a warm heated garage sure is nice. It gets real cold and we get a lot of snow up here in the great white north :D

Down here it is critical to keep tires and plastics out of sunshine as much as possible.

It's like that up here too..... for about 5 days per year!!!

We do actually get a lot of sunshine, just not as hot as you. The UV effects are the same though.
