Wouldn't surprise me to find they paid MORE to have the leather deleted!
I've worked in a field with fleet vehicles for 30 years...I've seen invoices where extra was paid to delete a standard stereo in favor of just a radio![]()
Sure there is, it's called the Dodge Ram Power Wagon. For the work the Feds ordered them for there is nothing better on the market
Sure there is, it's called the Dodge Ram Power Wagon.
They would have a better suspension, better off-road ability, stronger all-around truck, higher payload, higher towing, a much smaller more fuel efficient engine that produces almost as much power (383hp/400lb.ft vs. 411hp/434lb.ft.), cloth interior WITHOUT a special order, 12k lb winch, a better warranty (5yr/100k vs. 5yr/60k) and all this with a starting price of OVER $3,000 LESS THAN A RAPTOR.
Plenty of government officials already know how great they are:

And that's probably what they THINK they're getting but the Raptor is just like every other truck SVT put together and that is a SHOW truck and not a PERFORMER. That truck is nothing more than a garage trophy and will die a short death in any real off-road endurance. Luckily the government has the money to keep them fleet maintained and replace all the broken parts.in short you missed the point.... (like chris said)
they need a stock something as close to this as possible
