Yoweee !!!

I would imagine that the drive chain for the cross augers is 120H ?

Perhaps if they are available this year or next you could replace the bottom

cross auger with a solid auger and be able to clean up much faster.

The fan is huge so it seems to pick up the snow pretty well. The snowblower is designed to be a sidewalk snowblower and It is built like a tank. I think the chain is 120EH. Its heavier than the chain on my dads 8 foot snowblower by a long ways.

What width is that.??

Looks like you could have gone a bit wider.

Nice blower.

It is 54 inches. 1/2 inch narrower than what the tractor tires are set at right now. It was too good of a deal to pass up on for a used blower. List price was close to 9000 dollars and I picked it up for 1750. The blower had 8 hours of use on it and came with an extension for loading into a truck. I could narrow up the rear tires, but I like them where they are at. Seems to be working real nice. It really launches the snow compared to my old JD 666 blower. The blower is rated for 50-90 HP but I am real pleased with it at 33 HP

[quote I figured it was 120H roller chain even before zapping the photos, now all you need is a pair of solid augers from Normand and you will be well set and the snow will scream and run in fear!!! quote]

As long as you keep the R.P.M. speed at the top end where it belongs and the reverse travel speed low you will have no issues with it; have fun and buy a back up camera with the heated shutter from Agrisupply to mount on the JD cab roof line as well as a suicide knob if you dont have one already.

You will love the spout control on that little canadian troublemaker as the set up to control it is very nice just llike the Beilhack snow clearers where the linkage aids in pinpoint directing the snow especially when blowing it in front of the blower to clear areas that have no side to side space to cast it.

When the snow gets deep you will find that the high intake throat allows you throw the snow in front of you very quickly and efficiently as the spout will avoid issues with hitting windows and your next door neighbors dog or storm door with snow balls. this will help in removing snow around the house to avoid flooded basements too before the spring melt.

Its a twenty to twenty four inch fan will have to measure it. Next to impossible to bend the blades on it they are about 3/8 inch thick

You could always make little extensions, say total of 3", (1 1/2 per side), to keep clear of your track width otherwise you will eventually find that you will be compacting snow with your wheels and end up with a shallow luge run.
I know, I had a 48" blower on 48" wide rear track and it was not pleasant.

Nice blower, but then 'Fait au Quebec' LOL (made in Quebec)

I think I will go with three inches as the blower is so heavy duty and it has the capactiy and I get great traction with the r1 tires. This will get me to 60 inches. Somebody on here posted some real nice extensions and I am going to copy them.

Who rates the blowers any way? Do they expect you to do 30mph wile blowing snow? My 84" blower is rated for 50 or bigger and my 3320 dose just fine. As long as the snow isn't coming over the top of the intake the tractor dose not bogg.

I think it the manufacturer that rates them. If I was cleaning two foot tall sidewalks though I would want more HP just so that I could go faster. Luckily with the hydro I can make it work real nice for my yard and driveway.
