Typicly from a guy that has never done it and don't know what he is talking aboutBoy talk about driving blind.... You would have to have two people one to drive and one to spot just to move that many bales at a time. I would be fun to watch though.
i find i can operate in awkward positions if the price is right.
Let me help you spend some money and give a plug to Everything Attachments. Here is a combo 3PH/FEL bale spear. You can put it either on the front or rear. Buy this and use the money you've saved to buy a set of pallet forks too. Just for insurance, take your wife to dinner and buy her some flowers before it's all delivered.
Gratefull,i know the layout of my trails and gates so I know where i'm going, and when i lift the loader i can see under the bales far enough ahead to stay on track, the rest is experience.Besides that, there ain't much to run into on a open pasture is there. We only use a spear on the front with our L3940. We have loaded rear tries and our bales are 4' wide and usually about 4' in dia. We have no trouble at all moving them and bales are moved here daily. No weight box, no box scrape, but we know the limits and safety always comes first.
Bison I'm not trying to be a smartarse or anything and you've probably been doing this for many, many years but it's got to be a bit tough to see where you're going. We can put our small bale down low enough to see over it. Maybe with that size tractor with a loader you are able to see up and over the bales and where you're going.
