Both the L series you mentioned and the B2920 are economy tractors. Basic, if you will. The B2630 is a deluxe tractor, with features and price to match.
Kubota makes both basic tractors and deluxe tractors in the L series and B series. Thus, it would seem best to decide whether you want a basic series tractor or a deluxe series tractor, then narrow it down to horsepower and price tolerance. FWIW

I can only speak for myself, but I will never buy another tractor without position control. I also really like the independent PTO. As mentioned, the 2630 and 3030 as well as new 3000 I believe have this, but it will cost you.

The MMM would be a problem. If you DO want that, stick to the B. But a front blower wouldn't be a problem with an L, they can be driven with a hydraulic motor.

If you are going to be mowing the 11 acres or a significant part of it with a rotary mower, the 1/4" valve on the B2x20 and other B's except for the xx30's is a disadvantage. I use chains to keep mine at the height I want it. You will otherwise be bumping up the front of the mower every 10 minutes or so. For the other things I do, box blade, rear blade, spraying, the 1/4" valve works fine. If you are going to be using a RFM, the 1/4" is fine.
The Lxx00 series tractors will give you the position control. There are numerous threads documenting the system is jerky when raising the implement so the suggestion is have the dealer put a heavy implement on it and raise it and lower it especially in small increments to see if that bothers you. As you mentioned, they don't have the mid pto capability, so you have to decide if that is an issue for you. When I sat on one, I did not like the placement of the controls as well as mine, but that may be more of a familiarity issue.
The Bxx30's are really nice with some good features. Strong hydraulics, position control, telescopic stabilizers and links on the 3 pt hitch, etc. They are more expensive. The only negative besides price to me would be if you add a MMM on them, it is a ground contact so the wheels ride on the ground and support the mower when mowing instead of the suspended mower deck used on the B2x20 series tractors. Some put chains on their decks to convert them to suspended though.
It seems there is no perfect solution. If money wasn't a big concern, I would probably look hard at the B3030 and live with the mower deck or just get an RFM. On the 3 acres I live on, which is basicly a big yard, the B2920 is perfect for maintaining it, the 400 ft drive and other projects. On the other 11 acres we own which is a mix of fields, rough fields, brush and woods, something bigger, heavier, and stronger would be a better option, but for now I trailer it to there so don't want something too big to comfortably trailer.

After considering about 10 (!) different Kubota models in the same price range, I went with the L3800HST instead of the 3300 or 3030 or 2920 or 2630 etc, etc, etc ...
It has position control (good thing), but no mid PTO (I'm OK with that, I'll use a RFM).
It was the largest / widest of the ones that I considered. I wasn't comfortable imagining the other (smaller) ones being driven through semi-wild forested areas.
The dealership had the L3800, the B3300, and the BX25 lined up in a row, so you could see the papa tractor, the mama tractor, and the wee lil' baby tractor. It was kind of funny. (Don't get me wrong: the BX25 looks really amazing, if your land isn't too wild. But it reminded me of my young daughter - it'd would do the first half of the forest walk like a trooper, and then give up and say "carry me", and I'd have to carry it home :laughing

Only jerky when raised in small increments. The 3ph uses gravity to smoothly lower down.

That's the funniest thing I have read about a Kubota for a while.:laughing: While I doubt you would normally have to carry the bx home, It could get hung up on something if the terrain was kinda "wooley". I sure like my L3400HST, the same size as that L3800, if properly ballasted, you can do a lot with them:thumbsup:

You pick a tractor, any tractor and "build it". Just remember, that you are looking at list price. Nobody pays list price, or shouldn't. Average bargaining skills will get you 10% off. Push hard and the dealer really wants to move one off his lot? Might deduct 12-15% but the planets have to line up right.

I am in the same dilemma, although I found a B2920 with 95hours on it with a 6' rear blade for 15000$ Canadian
or
A brand new L3700 with loader for 20,000$ OTD @ 0% for 48 months.
The more I look the more and more i get carried away with going bigger and bigger, really all I want to do is run a 4-5' brush hog and clear snow with the rear blade, some landscaping and mowing the ditches.
I think that the Mid PTO is an important part of the decision as I think that could be a great attachment in the future.
The bucket on the 2920 (LA364) just looks so small with all the others parked next to it.
Smaller is handier in a lot of situations though!

You are an expert in Canadian tractor pricing? It may sound like a "rip off" to you but up here the pricing is hugely different than USA. So how many tractors have you priced out in Canada by the way??

Besides, this information is worth what you paid for it... nothing. Again, I'm sorry if this pissed you off.
