Did you get them from sales or parts? I was trying to price the guards last night and jd parts was saying that unavailable through parts.

Matt:confused:

Sales. When I called the parts department at the dealership and stated what I wanted, they said that a salesman would have to order it because it isn't an actual "part", but more of an accessory. But Parts was still able to write my order down and pass it in the right direction.

Those light kits have to be ordered through a salesman because they are what's called whole goods. They are accessories instead of parts. I got the front auxilary lights and 2 rear work lights. These are by far in my opinion worth the money if you use your tractor at night. Been very helpful pushing snow.

You may have to mount the rear facing lights in a different location in order for them to not interfere with the operation of a backhoe. Or, you could turn the forward facing lights around, which would be easy and they would allow for a wider light pattern as opposed to the narrow pattern from the rear lights being mounted on the inside of the ROPS. Then if you were to add two permanent rear facing lights to the top of the ROPS you'd have more than an ample amount of rear lighting for backhoe-ing.

All 3 of my lights run off of the 1 factory switch.

The John deere site says the front and rear light kits is not compatable. Is this true?

Only because there is only on plug...and the factory switch is not big enough to handle a bunch of lights (current draw).

Create a new circuit through a relay, from the battery, add you own switches and add as many as you want;)
