Well I just got my tractor down to fix it this week. I brought it to my Mom's cousin whom has all the tools I will need to get it fixed up so I will be down there working on it until it is fixed. :)

I just found something out about my 3 point hitch strait out of my manual.

TractorData.com Yanmar YM169 tractor information

It lifts over 1100 pounds! I guess i exceeded that when the 3 point over loaded with the boxblade full of dirt. :(

I am not sure the figure for the YM169's lifting capacity is accurate. The YM186, the next step up, basically, is listed to somewhere around 551lbs, though that's 24 inches back from the lift point, and 661lbs at the lift pins. I've read that the YM169 is similar to the YM1401; my 186D is much stronger in lifting capacity than my 1401D. Maybe the 169 is significantly stronger than the 1401? It's listed as being quite a bit heavier on tractordata.com.

Unless your BB is totally different than mine you did not overload it. Thats Lifing Lbs not pulling lbs. Unless you have gumbo sticky clay when you lift a BB the dirt will stay on the ground, at least thats how mine works? So your only lifting the weight of the BB itself. The tractor can pull way more than 1000lbs with the lift arms this is different. Just think of like a hay wagon, the thing it self weight more that 1100lbs and you can move it. My tractor moves my 16ft carhauler that weighs something like 1200-1500lbs like its not back there!. Can tow my 3000lb plus boat like its not back there. Im thinking you may have the capacities mixed up some. Not doubting the book said what it did i just htink your thinking about it wrong.

Even if you did overload it with something to heavy, it has a release valve that pops to keep you from tearing up the pump or blowing out the seals in it.

It happend basically when my box blade packed full of sticky wet dirt. We have a clay type soil here and it likes to stick to most everything when it is wet. It did go to the by-pass valve but not it basically gets a little pressure to the 3 point but after a certain amount it goes to the by-pass and the engine bogs down a little. Could i have a seal out and it is caught in one of the lines? That could be a culprit that only allows a certain amount of pressure to be exerted to the hitch.

After 6 pages I encourage you to go back to post #6 and try this test. Based on the suddenness of your problem I do not believe your problem is your fluid and screen. Not saying it doesn't need to be addressed. I have read more than 1 thread of a sheared pump key and the friction between the pump coupling and drive shaft turning the pump enough to put up just a little flow. I cannot see how you can do harm if you try my suggestion.
