Hesson 1014 Haybine and HP

I can buy a Hesston 1014 Haybine, does any one know how HP you need to run this machine

I've run one with 70 PTO HP. It will do it, but 90 works better.

Once you use a center pivot machine you will never want to go back to a side pull unit. period.

However i installed a restrictor in the swing cyl lines to slow down the swing speed switching from side to side.

I have to disagree. I have both, a Kuhn center pivot and a JD side pivot and each have their strong points, depending on field accessability and shape.

The 1014 that I bought is a 10ft version and has the semi side pivote, how is it different than a center pivote

To each his own. I never encountered a field that wasn't easier to mow with a center pivot than not.
