I see that Kubota is as usual. They have p*** me off too, but no satisfaction. Arrogant is a mild description and the dealer I bought it from on Prince Edward Island (Canada) ignored me too to add to the insult. Problem with the loader hydraulics - the bucket cylinders air lock because of poor design. Hence you never know when the bucket goes limp and you have to wait a few seconds for the oil to catch up. Irritating when you are loading or digging. Their regional service "manager" suggested I buy a new model that had a better design. The tractor was about 6 months old and 100 hrs. at the time he saw it. I think green and red when I think of a new tractor.

This is no help but I hope Kubota reads it and smartens up. There are other options.

So I guess we are saying you haven't even bought the tractor yet, you are just using the dealers tractor. Sounds easy, walk away from the deal and get something else.

I can't offer any assistance with your specific tractor, but after repeated problems with my 2660's front tires I asked for the area reps number. The dealer called their local rep and let him know the call was coming. I stayed calm and professional in my discussion with him and he agreed to resolve my problem. I knew what I wanted to solve the problem and it was dealt with in a professional manner.

I've been a manuf. rep for 25 yrs. there are times when the dealer will be happy for your assistance back to the factory. Properly done you lend strength to the dealer. It's all in the presentation.

I am somewhat perplexed as to why you want to take home a tractor to get some **** done that all the evidence suggests you will not be happy with! What gives there?

well i have my contractor at the house doing work and i was not planning on having the tractor in the shop for 2+ weeks and its stupid to have to rent one when mine is just sitting in the shop doing nothing until we get the FIX in next week

The stupid tech guy is trying to tell me that the tolerences in the valve are bad and something about the O ring swelling up. I think the guy thought i was born last night. he said he has only seen this issue on one other tractor and that was a L2800 and the replacement valve fixed it

so we shall see, i am not holding my breath. I still think its odd after 2+ weeks they have not asked me to sign any papers

Not to hound on you or anything but from what you have said, you have given them a $5k check and you have not signed any papers as of yet. I know that if I would have given them any check, I would not have left the office without signing something, but then again stuff is done differently in different areas. :confused2:

well whats the worst that could happen, i get a 5k tractor??? and keep it lol

im a local business owner and they know that i am not going any where, my business is 2 blocks from the dealer.

I just want them to make it right and fix it like they say they will and then i will be happy

Well, lets see, no papers signed and no cashed check, check disappears, maybe you stole it. Cops come knocking at your door. You have nothing to back up what you have done other than your word.

People disappear everyday (run out on their obligations) Here today, maybe even after 30 years, then gone tomorrow without any warning.

Sounds to me that the sales person just wanted to make a sale and you want to believe them (price is right) even though you have known about the problems.

I'm not saying any of this is true or going to happen, just an outsider looking in and this is what I see. And I'm not saying that you stole the tractor, but with no paperwork and cashed check the dealer could say that you did. Maybe you got such a great deal that the dealer feels like you stole it.

Best of luck with your predicament. ;)
