You need to change the SUDT PDQ! Some dealer mechanics will just grab the first bucket that they come to. No telling what kind of c**p is in there. Filters also, and don't forget to clean the screen.
I did this last night . It was filthy. The screen was dirty too. I drained out all the oil, and got as much out of the loader as I could (left it up, then once it stopped draining, lowered it and alot more came out). I changed the spin on hydro filter. Once everything was back together, I added the new synthetic SUDT II, about 3.5 gallons. That put me at the max mark, after cycling all the hydraulics and steering for a few minutes. I also changed the engine oil with mobil 1 synthetic. The manual is wrong when it states 3.5 gts. Its actually around 4.75 qts. Two dealers confirmed the error in the books.
It seems the leak is fixed and its running great, just turned 206 hrs. While I was underthere I greased all moving parts, serviced the mowing deck, etc. My dealer is trying to get me to trade it in on the new B3000 with cab. I drove it and it sure is nice. They are even giving me a good trade/price. The A/c and heat are nice!!! and its quiet in the cab. However it might be a neusance around bits of my yard that are tight when mowing, like low trees and such. They are already tough with the BX's roll bar.
