Well I got it back, and did some loader work with it at my uncles yesterday evening. After about 5 minutes I noticed lines of SUDT everywhere, im like oh no, here we go again. It was pouring out of the dip stick tube opening. I took the dip stick out and it was foaming while it was pouring out. I raised the bucket, and then let it down, and it poured out some more. I let it rest and cool down, checked the level, and it twice the max level on the yellow dipstick. wth? I got a small pan, and drained about 1.5 qts from the bottom drain bolt. It was now a little below max. I tightened everything up and that seemed to fix it. I need to clean it good now because the whole tranny is covered in SUDT. I want to make sure its not leaking anywhere else. Im really disappointed the dealer overlooked this. Hopefully all is well now. I did notice the fluid was filthy! The mechanic said he reused the fluid he drained from it. I think he should have put new stuff in.

You need to change the SUDT PDQ! Some dealer mechanics will just grab the first bucket that they come to. No telling what kind of c**p is in there. Filters also, and don't forget to clean the screen.

I did this last night . It was filthy. The screen was dirty too. I drained out all the oil, and got as much out of the loader as I could (left it up, then once it stopped draining, lowered it and alot more came out). I changed the spin on hydro filter. Once everything was back together, I added the new synthetic SUDT II, about 3.5 gallons. That put me at the max mark, after cycling all the hydraulics and steering for a few minutes. I also changed the engine oil with mobil 1 synthetic. The manual is wrong when it states 3.5 gts. Its actually around 4.75 qts. Two dealers confirmed the error in the books.

It seems the leak is fixed and its running great, just turned 206 hrs. While I was underthere I greased all moving parts, serviced the mowing deck, etc. My dealer is trying to get me to trade it in on the new B3000 with cab. I drove it and it sure is nice. They are even giving me a good trade/price. The A/c and heat are nice!!! and its quiet in the cab. However it might be a neusance around bits of my yard that are tight when mowing, like low trees and such. They are already tough with the BX's roll bar.

I'm glad things are starting to look up on your tractor. I wish a dealer would roll by my house and propose a trade, I'd probably take him up on it. But, like you, having a cab would limit me too much, but I agree, it would be nice. But, most times, I don't use my tractor so much that it would help me much to be in the A/C. I really don't mind the cold we get in these parts either. I'd just like a bit more loader capacity than my BX2200 offers, and a digger would be nice.

I'm thinking about hanging in with what I have, and going in with a buddy for an excavator. We think we can find a mini-ex for around 10K, and it would cost 5K to add a digger to the BX, and a mini-ex is so much more capable than most tractor diggers.
