So if you got the same blade for $610 that the first dealer wanted $990 plus your old blade, then you did real good. Is that what happened?

Yeah, that's exactly what happened. Locally the Woods RB84 was $990 + my old blade + tax and I'm sure I would have had to go pick it up. The Landpride rb2584 was 1047 + tax plus I'm sure I'd pay for delivery.

I got a brand new rb84 delivered to my barn for $610 + 173 delivery. The dealer was in MI. That's just crazy. PM me if you want to know dealer names.

I would recommend the King Kutter 7' Professional Rear Blade RB-84-QAT. swivel, tilt, strong.

I find this attachment thing very confusing and I do read a lot. I just purchased a BX2360 and the dealer says I can't get a used RB60 blade for my tractor as it won't lift high enough. I have to get a new RBC60 from them for $100 more. I realize I only have 12 inch tires, but I don't like the idea of being so limited on attachments. Just venting, I guess. I have to trust the dealer as I am too new to know all the jargon in the tractor world. :confused2:

My BX2360 and HF quick hitch have no problem with a Frontier RB2060 blade, or any other Cat 1 implements I have.

I have a Frontier RB2196H which is hydraulic angle that I payed $1450 for new , and use behind my 5103 Deere and I have had nothing but problems with it. The pivot pin that they use on that is a grd8 1in bolt. The first time I used it the nut came loose and I didnt have wrenches to tighten it so I went to deere to have them tighten it and about lost it going down the road. There solution was another nut to lock the together, and that didnt work so when I took it to them because the turn table was bent up it took 3 months to get a replacement and the Frontier didnt want to warrenty. I knew I should have went with the 23 series blade but couldnt afford it. I would definatly stay away from this blade.

My little Frontier RB2060 blade also uses a 1 inch bolt for the pivot. Strange that they used the same on a much larger blade.

Presently have a 72 inch JD rear blade...bought in 85...had some welding done to beef it up....putting spacers on my 3320 and looking into a 7 ft model...looked at the basic woods blade at my dealer...looked rather tinny...was looking into the HBL84-2 rear blade...just a simple question...when one goes to rotate the 7 ft model 180....while on on the hitch...can it be rotated without catching on anything...BTW I do have pats easy change hitch installed.

I'm not familiar with the blade that you are looking at, but pretty much any good rear blade will rotate 360* while mounted on the tractor. The better blades will have a boom that is long enough to allow the blade to turn 360*. There are some less costly blades that will not turn 180 while on the tractor. I have a Land Pride rear blade that is 108" wide, it will turn 360*.

Try to keep in mind that when it comes to NEW implements, you usually get what you pay for. ;)

Here is a post that I had made waaaaaay back when.

No, the blue paint is not from Mahindra. My dealer painted it for me to make the sale. When we were going over all the prices my salesman could sense I was a little hesitant. He asked what was wrong? I told him that the prices were fine, I just wasn't sure if I could stand looking out over a red hood for hours at a time, you see I don't really care for the color red. He said is that all that is stopping you? Yes, I replied. Then we will paint it for you, what color do you want it ? Well, the rest is history, good & bad. ;)
