I am also looking at Timber wolf how do you like yours? i have asked them for a price list just a moment ago.
Another happy 3 point splitter owner. We only do about 4 cords a year all at once in about a day's work. Indoor storage space is at a premium and that was a consideration as well - a 3 point splitter takes up very little room.
Go to a TSC. Their 22 Ton huskee models are frequently on sale for $999I only split about 3 or 4 cords per year and $1,600 for a gas job is a lot of money, vs $1,000 or so for a 3pt.
small spliter-- just using up some parts around the shop so making a small one 3inch tie rod cylinder 18 stroke 2 stage 11 gpm pump and a 8 hp briggs any idea how much push I will get? LD1,
Is it any good? Will it split a large Oak Fork?
Most of my wood thus far is unsplit because all I've got is a maul...
Most of my wood is un-cut actuallyI have a dozen oak tree tops just laying around and WAY more than that all over the rest of the property.
