Unfortunately, none of your links does support your argument.

■ The link to Surplus Center shows ORFS adapters, elbows and connectors, none are METRIC, and shouldn't be either, according to the ORFS standards: SAE J1453 and ISO 8434-3

■ The link to the Caterpillar, just shows adapters from ORFS to METRIC. The metric side of the adapter lacks o-ring, therefore it's not ORFS, and shouldn't be either, according to the ORFS standards: SAE J1453 and ISO 8434-3

P.S. ORFS are still not metric!

Just call them what they are instead (and what the Chinese call them): Chinese Metric thread flat seat Hydraulic Hose Fittings

All right boys this argument has been going on for a while

Blue chip thank you for your concern, I am not good at getting things covered under warranties, I usually break them myself, Kubotas hoe for this tractor is 6.5' and woods makes a bracket for their B70X, which is significantly beefier construction than the one I am looking at.

Possibly you are right, theirs no data as to max weight on the back, that I have seen

No argument here. Try this one.
World Wide Metric, Inc. - Advanced Search
It's just an example. There are tons of metric "face seal" fittings. :) If "adapters, elbows and connectors" are not fittings, what is?

My bad. Got ahead of myself.

P.S. ORFS are still not metric!
Absolutely correct - some are SAE, some are metric. :D
Incidentally, I got the World Wide Metric site by Googling SAE J1453. :)

OT: Wanted: Chinese Metric Female flat seat press fittings

You're still suggesting web links that doesn't lead anywhere, rather to solve the problem for a customer that needs a new hose for their broken Chinese tractor, FEL or BH, equipped with the Metric thread flat seat fittings.

The only place I've found those are on Chinese webpages, like the picture below with the rare 90 degrees Metric Female flat seat press fittings. (Note the Chinese incorrect spelling on the image.) The web address is visible in the 2nd picture.

I seriously doubt you'll ever find these Chinese Metric press fittings in any of your american web links, but should you do, that's a good information to know to any U.S. customer, should the needs occur for them to get a new hose pressed for their chinese tractor, backhoe or other equipped impediments.

■ Here's the wanted press fittings, with the item numbers: 20211, (20231, 20241,) 20291

You didn't say hose end fittings, you just made a blanket statement saying metric ORFS fittings don't exist.
You would be time and money ahead to just purchase the Chinese hose assembly of the correct size and length, which are available through all of the stocking dealers.
:D
PS: My links are valid, they lead to specific websites, so don't say they don't go anywhere.

I digress...:(

Ok,,,,update, I BOUGHT IT,,,,dug my first stump,,,it's a little heavy for my tractor, had to put 200lbs of weight in the bucket to get it to steer . But the hoe performs nicely, , a little jerky but that's expected.

Put a return filter on the return line 25 micron, but it keeps blowing apart?..

Any ideas, I put QC on both sides of the filter so I can take it out.

Not sure why you did that. Usually return filters are part of the equipment they service and are hard plumbed. I suggest permanently mounting the filter to the hoe.
Usually return filters are 10µ. What keeps blowing apart, the filter cartridge itself or the quick-connects?

There was no room to "mount"the filter, you guys were the ones to suggest a return line filter, . The filter canister itself ruptured on one and the rubber seal blew on the second,,,,obviously there's to much pressure there, this is a log splitter return line filter, 25 micon was the smallest available

Tank return filter

We did the same, put a return filter on Quick Disconnects, for use when loaning/borrowing impediments and not having it's oil of unknown status contaminating the tractors hydraulic reservoar tank.

But we also added a return filter permanently to the backhoe, which works very fine. See the images below. Our filter holders have a bypass valve, should the filter become clogged. We might add a gauge (M10 threads) to monitor it's status though.
The specific filter and the holder are calculated to be sufficient for the backhoe with 3/4"-14 threads for 1/2" hoses.

Here's some suitable tank return filters:
European 3/4"-14 BSP-PL:
■ Baldwin BT366-10
■ LHA SPE16-10

US NPTF threads:
■ Baldwin BT839-10

Your filter might as well be larger than the Baldwin BT366-10 we're using, what flow rate does it accept? 10 GPM or more? Seems your system has a flow restriction from the filter on the way back to the tractors QD. What hose size (1/2") and QD (1/2")?

The return line must go (unresrricted) directly back to the reservoir.

This is an excellent value for $18.00. Surplus Center - 3/4" NPT 20 GPM FA1200-10 RETURN FILTER

I mounted my return line filter on the console, but admittedly I'm a little more **** than most because I also employed a restriction gauge and a thermometer.
