That's a no win situation. You could be witnessing a crime, or a domestic dispute. Best course of action...get the car's tag number and call the cops.

After rereading Dan's layout, there is no question that you would be witnessing a violent, life or death crime in progress. Any and all means to stop it would be justified, regardless of whether he was armed or not.
Yeah, maybe she still loves him, that would definitely mess with you afterwards if you did have to euthanize him, but at that moment you would be doing the right thing, it could be a complete stranger abduction.

Knowing full well that very often the worst spot you can get in is in the middle if a family disturbance I would probably get the license plate number and dial 911. hopefully be able to get pictures of what wad happening, too. But the ultimate decision would be made based on my evaluation of what I saw at the time.
