EVERYONE JUST STOP!!
First off their is no voided warranty! Kioti can not void the warranty!
Kioti does not have to pay for the fix as it was a Woods backhoe.
Now the right way to go about this is...
Go to your selling dealer and explain what happed.
Then the selling dealer should contact who ever he/she feels is responsible for the issue. Or even take it out of their own pocket.

Woods clearly states in their warranty, that if a manufactures product fails due to their product, IT WILL BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!

Now everyone needs to sit back and relax. This is not a dealer issue nor is it a Kioti issue!
This is clearly a issue with a Wood product until Woods states its not their problem.
I have been down this road with Woods and or other aftermarket companies before ALL with great results to both me as a dealer and my customer!

As for the Kioti/McCormick/Woods thing, well it is what it is.

I can't have Polaris warranty my Bobcat UTV's even thought under the seat it says Polaris and on the hood it says Bobcat.

Looks like someone will have to be contacting Woods.

Hopefully they don't pass the blame like the others though! All you need is a he said she said thing and were back to you having a broke tractor and having to pay for it out of your pocket. They want a happy customer they'll step up though.

hmmm, i just went and looked at Kioti's warranty...

It states in easy to read print that they wont warranty for damage done by non kioti backhoes. I hope that they will bite the bullet and fix it.... but they dont have to.I really dont know of ANY manufacturer that will warranty their product if you run other brand product thru it..... heck i had a truck warranty voided cause i used synthetic oil.

does it look like the woods mounting bracket caused the damage????

Wow, just looked at the copy of the warranty statement, holy crap... !!!!
They cover the cylinder block, cylinder head, valve cover and internals, basically a long block, but do not cover anything in the cooling system, electrical system, fuel system, inlet/exhaust system!!!!!..:confused:
Gee, its easy to offer a 4 year warranty if it doesnt actually cover anything...

I did NOT say anyone's warranty would be void. I did say that Kioti could void the warranty..... IF they determine that abuse or misuse is determined to be apparent, per section #4 item, D, ..."warranty immediately terminated". Since Kioti will deny fixing anything caused by using other than Kioti loaders and backhoes, it would logically follow that if they determine that a Woods backhoe did damage to the tractor's trumpet bell housing(s), it COULD be considered abuse/misuse and consequently they might choose to void the warranty. The wording is vague enough and open ended enough that the manufacturer, (Kioti) holds most, if not all of the cards in the ultimate decisions.
So instead of telling us to stop discussing this dilemma, and for all of us to sit back and relax how about using your knowledge to inform us about what Kioti usually does in situations like this. Otherwise, IMHO, you're just disrespecting US as members of these boards.
The selling dealer IS, again, IMO, the one who ought to be informing the buyer, when they buy a Kioti, that buying any other brand backhoe will cause Kioti to refuse to pay for consequential repairs. I can't fathom too many potential buyers then saying gee let's buy the Woods or XYZ brand so as to encounter problems with their new machine.

Got interested in my warranty with what all of you were saying about not covering much. John Deere covers the ENTIRE tractor except batteries and tires, and of course subject to no misuse. But it mentions nothing of aftermarket backhoes or other accessories. Maybe they consider that misuse just don't state it but thats a big plus for JD in my book!

found this interesting link about EPA requirements on emission warranty work REQUIRED on all off road (tractor) engines sold in USA since 1996. Apparently even if its not listed on warranty, the injection system has a 5 year, 3,000 hour MANDATORY warranty...or the company can be fined.

Good info. Nice to know about the second, that'll definitely be in mind for the next couple years.

Where did you find the info for the first post. I just got the PDF for the 3320 of Deere's website for their warranty. I don't understand that wording either.

i got it thru JD's links.....a redirect **** if you ask me  . I read it twice....but im kinda confused.

One thing i do know

1. Have a 17 yo dodge cummins diesel engine...... $0.00 cost to repair engine, injectors, exhaust (did burn up 2 fuel pumps though). 250,000 mi
2. Have 6 yo F350 powerstroke diesel... $0.00 engine repair costs. 54,000 mi
3. Had a 1996 JD 870 with yanmar engine.... 1,400 hr on tractor with $0.00 engine related expenses

bottom line.... diesel engines last a LONG LONG time. Its the rest of the rig that goes to crap
