David,

Ran across this nifty tool the other day for picking up nuts (or anything similar)

Very cool tool.

Dean

Dean,
That is VERY COOL indeed!

THANK YOU!

The fence is shaping up nicely. It's wonderful that you have had some great help in getting your project done. Also having those new tools....,sweet!! Sure speeding up the production.

I was looking at the last set of pictures,,,beautiful property you have. I am happy for you, and hope things work out with the job offer. We both know if it is meant to be - it shall be.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Dean,

I am blessed far beyond my merit. The good news is at least I know it.

The help from my Church buddies and TBN Buddies has been awesome too.

The tools are a necessity, and I'm converting my "S" Corporation from a High Tech consultancy to "Agri-Business" so the company is funding the tools with the last dregs of it's bank balance...

It is a cool chunk of land. it has character and potential that has been left neglected for a long time. I'm trying to fix that, but I'm also forced to eat this elephant "one bite at a time".

This job situation is very different for me. It is not typical that I am unhappy at work, and less than happy with the outside potential work, and even worse, struggling with decision making. Those are new problems for me...

MERRY CHRISTMAS to you, yours, an especially your new GRANDSON!
David

A couple photos of my fencing project this summer. I am new to horses, but EVERYONE that I spoke to encouraged me to make the pasture and fence as safe as possible. Apparently, a horse can find some way to injure itself on just about anything.

Hey Neighbor! What part of VA are you in?

That is a BEAUTIFUL fence!

I hope mine looks half as good when I am done!

I too have been advised to watch for things that could allow easy injury, and to remove all the things that if they eat them will make them sick (cherry tree, walnut & locust trees, etc).

Be well!

Wow, you guys are giving me a SERIOUS case of fence envy! I wish I knew some of the things that I know now when I built my fence. It would have turned out much much better.

David, you're making a ton of progress! Good job buddy!

Jon,

Thanks but kdm0811's looks FAR BETTER than mine! That is a beautiful fence he built, and I want to go see it and steal ideas...

I'm doing OJT as they say and it seems to me I am actually learning something! 3 people seems to be the most efficient so far, I just wish the 2nd nail gun would shoot reliably...

I think my buddy from OK might come over today or tomorrow to help and he and I will pretty easily finish what I plan to do for now on the wood fence.

My wife wants to plan the "Reception" for the horses... You & GF are invited of course... :D

Be well,
David

If you need a third set of hands tomorrow, shoot me a PM. I'm off work, but finishing up on Christmas presents. I'll have a few hours to spare if you need it :D
