It will be a while before light fixture manufacturers use ISO standards for rating their output. The LED flashlight manufacturers started about 1-2 years ago. Before the standards I think they all measured them about as close to the emitter as they could. Now they are at a standard distance.

...so if you assume that everyone making these LED utility lights is doing what the flashlight manufacturers were doing - trying to get the highest output adding possible, you may not have an absolute output number but you should at least be able to quantify the relative differences between them.

yup, they need an industry wide standard. I know that Metal Halides put out 100 lumens per watt, so a 400 watt MH outputs 40,000 lumens. For an LED to come colse...its a ways off in the future still

Let us know...if they're good and project a lot of light...might be a good source.
However, if you're dissatisfied with their output, let us know too, please...

As I'd written, I haven't seen good light out of LEDs....not for worklights, at least. Maybe these are different...

Most certainly will. They will be returned if I am not happy, as a matter of fact I was told by a ridged industries that if I don't think there the best lights I have ever owned I can return them without question.

These two pics are with the factory headlights then two work lights that are rated at only 1100 lumens - just 1.1 amps each. Compared to the factory headlights, I think they are reasonably bright for $40 each. They would not have enough "reach" for a car going 60 mph but at my average speed, they are plenty fine. For reference, the third reflective marker on the left would be about 130 feet away.

I have a set of the flood duallys for the back of my truck for plowing, they work great, you will not be disappointed. I was so happy I ordered another set which will go on the back of the tractor for night work. I am also thinking about the d2's spot for the front of the truck.

Great  Thank you for your comment, I was second guessing my decision about the purchase. But other people on forums also say they are very good. :D

work light are up higher so always project further. Get a pic of the headlights without the bucket in the way blocking the light for a fair comparison

id like to see. Its actual comparisons that help us all decide. thank you

There is a pigtail under the operator's seat for that work light I mentioned. This energizes when the lamp switch is turned to the appropriate position. That might be a good place to run your wiring.

Found it, thanks Roy.
