This guy does a good informal review, he's a glock man but likes the XDM

He's also a pretty good marksman.

did you notice when he had 2 guns and fired them simultanously he did not hit much, but when he had a single pistol he did quite well?

Gee I guess Bruce Willis could have done better with his 1911's with the 2 gun at a time thingy? (as in Last Man Standing):laughing: I love Hollywood

Yeah...I noticed that. Heck, I'm doing good if I hit the target with one gun! I've been known to carry more then one gun...but that second gun is strictly a back up (New York reload).
I think that two gun thing was just a grabber...to get peoples' attention.

Yep. Occasionaly I'll have a Baby Browning .25 stuck in my pocket as my "reload". Not ideal, but jammed in some bast$#d's ear and shot empty it will work. If my primary carry gun that day is run out of ammo I figure things will have gotten pretty bad at that point anyway.

A couple of Police Officer friends of mine were kidnapped in the late 70's, so when my son became a Police Officer, he carried a G27 backup in his bullet proof vest and I then gave him a "Baby Browning" to hide elsewhere as criminals pretty much assume all Police Officers carry a backup.

A small "OH S***" gun may not be a bad idea for the rest of us come to think of it.

Yep...sometimes it's nice to have a spare...
(I guess the Canadians are really thinking we're nuts by now)

I picked the Ruger LCP for this very reason. It's as light as a handgun can get...very small (I carry it in a vest pocket). The sights aren't good, but if it gets to the point I need to use it, odds are the barrel is going to be almost point blank.

Can't get much smaller than the little Beretta 950 mouse gun .25 acp with the tip up barrel. reliable little thing, could probably fit in some of our belly buttons

I've got one, never seen it jam or fail to fire. The thing is a little flame thrower, if you don't hit what your aiming at you'll scare the heck out of them, if at night

I had the .32ACP version, the Tomcat. I always liked that tip-up barrel. It was a bit heavier then the LCP though...and pretty easy to get a "slide bite".
The newer ones are supposed to be better, but the old ones had a tendency to crack in the aluminum frames.

Hard to beat the little LCP or its clone the Kel-Tec or vice-versa, I have trouble manipulating small semi-autos or I would get one.

I have often recommended that gun to people with weak hands who want a really small gun as you don't have to rack the slide to chamber a round.

That's actually why we bought it...originally, we bought it for my wife (she picked it out). And, as you know, it could be DA or SA and you could carry it locked and cocked.
Another nice thing...you don't have to be concerned with bullet setback.
