They are estimating Friday, so I'll stop by the dealer and get some pictures, and try to hurry them along to get it to my house:laughing:

I do think a 4 in 1 would be very nice, especially with the grapple as well. Be able to grab dirt and gravel that the grapple can't would be nice. If I didn't get the grapple with it, I'd probably be looking for a 4 in 1. Having both, though, is what we call the 'cats meow' around here:thumbsup:

Good news, Martian. Gettin' close.. I seriously considered the 4n1. But, it was (is) heavy and expensive! And of course it's a "compromise". Not as much capacity as a standard bucket and it's not as capable as a real grapple, either.

It is really nice to have the flexibility to tackle those "little jobs" that don't really require a grapple (a couple of trees, etc.) or moving a few yards of material (not 100-200 yards). So, you wouldn't want to go through the trouble of switching out the attachment - all ya gotta do is flip the toggle switch!

For my purposes, when I need a grapple it makes more sense to switch the bucket out. And when I'm moving dirt or gravel - more often than not - it's several dump truck loads at a time.

So, in the final decision - I don't really see that having a 4n1 is an attachment that I just can't "live" without..

I went up to talk to my dealer today. All is looking like they should be getting it tomorrow, I'll definitely be up there taking some pics. They are going to go over it, have it 'professionally' inspected and all. Depending on their schedule I'm hoping it comes home next week.

On a similar note, I went to my grandma's house today checking out the lawn tractor. Cleaning stuff up for the sale (amazing how much stuff people collect over the years) and was taking a better look at the lawn mower. Looks like about a 48" deck and 18HP, something like that, don't remember the model #. The price was right (free), and since it will be replacing a 20 year old Wheel Horse at the cabin, the HST alone will be an improvement. I brought the camera, but it was in the back of the barn and there's no electricity out there, so no light. Was going to bring it home, but the battery was dead, so we had to get a big extension cord and hooked the battery up. I'll be back out to pick it up in the morning, so there should be an abundance of pictures tomorrow!

There's gonna be no "shortage" of equipment at your place!! What make/model is the lawn tractor?

You kidding, he will be too busy shinning and waxing his tractor to even use it.

Sure won't. Worried about having enough space actually! I think I might have to move some things down to the second barn at the farm.

I forgot the model. T something I think. It was a smaller 'economy' tractor. Nothing like the x7 or x5 series. Comes with a little trailer too, though I think I've used the one I've got like 5 times.

Well, doing some cleaning to try and make everything fit. Have everything tucked into one side of the barn and one side completely open. Only problem is we usually have a car on that side as well. It will be close. May have to take the 3120 to the farm as the 5410 is very lonely in a big barn (it only has the Gator to keep it company;)). We're selling our last horse and the barn there is seeming more barren as it's usually stacked with hay, and we're down to 4 or 5 bales.

On a separate note, I'm a little bit of an air horn addict, it's my other addiction, next to tractors, and trucks. And I got the yellow one, supposed to be for Cat construction equipment and I'm going to try and find a place to put it on the 110.

Sorry for the pics being all jumbled up.

No more horses... daughter must have "discovered" boys! :D

That air horn will fit very nicely on the FP ROPS. The center of the rollover roof is metal.

You must have gone through this before;) It is a lot less work, one time there was 11 Clydesdales roaming around, now there are fewer...

I want to find some place for it, but I don't want it to look to cheesy. Got one on everything else though, 4 on the big truck, on the boat, and the golf cart.

About the 3pt hitch, I will be interested to see it. I hate that pin thing on my 3120. And the bolt on the 5410, we got in an argument one day and it found itself at the end of the road on garbage day. I was just sick of taking it in and out to put stuff on. Don't do much ground engaging 3pt work with it so it doesn't move around too often.
