I am really surprised at that awnser. Considering the growth of your company and such. I would have thought picking up a fast growing brand of tractor would be an interest. Considering it would give you more variety for your customers. I guess there are enough brand loyal customers though to keep up Kubota and Deere sales though.
Anyhow, I am not surprised by the numbers. I was able to thoroghly compare the Mahindra and the Kubota together and there are definately some differences. Not just the color either. I hope they keep up the good work.
Messicks already carry three brands, Kubota, Case-IH and New Holland (granted CNH is the same parent company but still they count as two). Bringing on another brand would only involve spending more money, sending the guys to be trained for those specific models and also advertising another brand. How many brands do you think they should carry? I like Neil and know he wouldn't do this but for others who just look at a large company like Messicks who sells most of the major brands would be considered cornering the market if they took on the smaller brands as well (I use major and smaller just because its how I look at them and not to be confused with me saying Mahindra or any of the others are lesser brands).
