what brand of oil filter on your vehicles

When you look inside, the design is very nice, sometimes they allow more paper filtering area.. I am not always at the Toyota dealer, so they sell three of them at a cut rate, sometimes a dollar cheaper each..I have been looking inside of oil and fuel filters for years. I took up the idea from seeing ads of Nascar engine filter full of rockerarm tips after their 500 mile races. I used to rebuild engines and always cut the first filter open after use for a Look-see??I am trying the Mobil-1 oil filters now as I am going with 5w30 synthetic oil to save my motors and some additional gasoline. By chance what are you calling Bargain filtering?

Arent the mobil1 and K&N just the Purolator high brand filter the same as the yellow grit purolator filter?

I'm not certain.. It has been a spell since i ran purolator.. And never a K&n, except for Life-time air cleaners...I was able to identify several like the purolator, was it wix or NAPA..seems Castroil...There is a lot of area difference in the pricing..I found a nice Micro filter at O-rielleys for 3 dollars on sale for my older Toyota..well made for the price and contruction was good..May go to it after warranty runs out, time will tell..
