Was just thinking about that, I have the hooks, and will weld them on soon. I gotta check out the top of the Kioti OEM bucket, and see if it is strong enough by itself, or needs a little help.. I need to find some paint that matches pretty close too. I whacked off 4 inches of the draw bar today, and used some "ford dark gray" it wasn't even close.

How about the orange?

Just guessing here, but he has never used or needed any orange, because he buys charcoal to paint the hydraulic TNT kits he sells to match the customers tractors. But I could be wrong.

How about the orange?

Sorry, can't help out with the orange, I know the grey because of the "TnT" kits. ;)

Should I be painting the "TnT" cylinders the color of the tractor that they go on? I'm actually thinking about just having black and give up on the grey.

Nice NEW avatar James!

Brian, if I were you, I'd be doing black with the option of other colors. Some nice flames or skulls (both?) would be nice on those TnT kits too;) Maybe not...

Hi George, yes it is side by side pedals. I doubt you are too old to learn to weld, get a DC stick machine and some 7014 and start laying beads.. or a MIG if you have more money. It is empowering, the ability to "glue" metal together, and fix holes, and put metal back when you take too much off. It is such a feeling of accomplishment. I highly recommend it! I am 57, and kinda nerdy, If I can weld you can weld.

I think you will like that once you start using it. I've done a little welding but more like bubble gum work haha. I tend to get in a hurry. When I looked at the Kioti at S and H in Joplin they didn't have the side by Side pedals on the smaller tractors but that was over a year ago too.

How about the orange?

I have a thread on that somewhere. Basically it is Chevy engine orange... Kinda hard on this Ford guy, but it is REALLY close to that color....

Rad I hear ya on the rops. My 30 had a sunshade...the thing was taller folded back then it was upright. It also rattled, & I was going to weld the rops together, but I went gorilla on the bolts instead. I am glad I didn't weld it because I ended up trading up to a 40.

Anyway, if you can find a good used welder, something in the 170 amp or better for mig(don't know about stick...never use done) you can weld anything on a tractor.

Tractors and welders go hand in hand... I think they should be a "option"....a built in orange millermatic 21O would be nice:laughing:

I filled out an opinion survey once from an anonymous tractor manufacturer regarding various "features" that they were considering building in to a tractor. They had a welder, a generator, an air compressor and a few other less desirable features. I'd certainly pay extra for a tractor that had those features built right in!
