Loader Un-findable Part Need your help

If you're going to go to a single pump system, I'd certainly recommend doing as Tommy suggests and upgrading to the CBN-E314L pump. It will have about 40% more flow than the 310 pump and Chinese tractors are known for being a bit shy on hydraulic flow in most cases. You'll find that your loader will operate much more smoothly and even be capable of compound moves with a higher flow pump. I planning to upgrade the hydraulic pump on my 304 Jinma to a CBN-E320L in the future for just this reason.

Well, I think the problem is that you're trying to buy Jinma parts for a Benye/Rhino. Try Farm Boys in Tennessee. If they encounter the same "unfindable" issue, I'd say the most reasonable alternative is to simply buy the conventional TY-290 drive gear assembly. Then reconfigure your pumps in series. That is, right now you've got pump-drive-pump. The conventional config is drive-pump-pump. Only problem I could foresee is if that puts pump #2 too close to the starter motor wiring.

Greg,

Thanks for the feedback but everything I have on this tractor points to Jinma. I am the second owner and have all the paper work that came with the tractor (operators manual, Parts Manual) and it says Jinma. I am unable to find a Benye/Rhino parts manual for reference. Do you know of a sure way to tell? I contacted the Rhino guys out of TN and the think it is a Jinma as well.

Are you sure that is not a Jinma Greg? You would know better than me but it sure looks like a older Jinma with side steering to me. Granted, I have not seen many 224, only 254 and up.

$900 was a steal. The loader is worth twice that alone.

Chris

I thought it was a great deal, until I started looking for a simple gear.

Unless somebody jokingly attached Hercules 2224 decals to the thing, it's a Benye. But as Chris intimated, sometimes its hard to tell simply from outward appearances - especially down there in the 18-28hp size range. As far as the manuals, I don't doubt the original MY2000 year manuals got lost along the way. You'd be amazed at how many folks buy used Chinese tractors, then come here for help cuz they didn't get manuals with them. A previous owner could have erringly picked them up on eBay.

That said, you might contact Tytan up in Kalona for a 2nd opinion

There may be others, but there's not reason not to start with the already mentioned Farm Boys or Tytan.

Has it been established that the engine is a Jaing Dong TY 295?
If this is indeed the case then it is possible that the TY 290 and TY 395 share the same accessory drive housing which allows two hydraulic pumps to be mounted on it, one in back adjacent to the starter and one in front adjacent to the radiator. Would this be something worth investigating further?

The engine is a two cylinder TY290. I have attached a picture of the only other tractor I have found with the same setup as mine. It is a 2004 Rhino. Notice the pumps are offset. This is because of a clearance issue with the alternator. If anyone knows where i can find a setup like this in a salvage yard let me know. Tom at farm boys is working on it as well. I have already stumped Phil at Circle G (which is HARD to do).

The fact that it is a two cylinder engine is irrelevant in this case. In this picture I see the main hydraulic pump is mounted offset to clear the starter. The other pump is mounted in front. Do you have the second pump mounted in front? I believe there might be another place on the left front of the engine where you can mount a pump.

Pretty sure that's already occupied by the injection pump
