Here is another little wake up call for the Warmies.
J. Loveit a big time scientist involved in the warming thing. He now says its all a hokes and is not happening.
Look this up in several scientific journals.
Wind turbines do increase the air temp where they are located. More turbines higher temp.
In England it takes more energy to keep the turbines warm & operating than they produce.
Wind Turbines kill around 400 birds a year including many Bald Eagles. They are except from all fines or liabilities. No So for Oil Company's.
Once again, do coal stacks heat the air? Do nuclear plants send hot air into the atmosphere? Not only do they but they heat the water in the rivers they dump to. So what's your point here? That windmills heat the immediate surroundings? Is there waste from wind energy? Waste coal? No. Do we have to use more energy to bring coal to wind farms? No.
And if windmills are heating the air you better talk to your friend HS because he thinks the sun is the only thing heating the planet.
Wind mills kill birds, the solution is to build sites out of migratory paths where very few birds fly, which is now being done, we've learned, too bad we haven't learned how to stop massive oil spills.
You kill birds when you drive your car, happens here regularly, are you so concerned about the birds that you're going to stop driving?
Causes of Bird Die-Offs - What Kills Flocks of Birds
"Trauma
Many bird die-offs are caused by massive trauma to birds' heads, wings and bodies from powerful collisions. This can occur when flocks are startled and panicked and their natural agility is compromised, which leads to collisions with other birds in the air or with obstacles such as buildings, trees, electrical wires or radio towers."
Poisoning
Inappropriate use of pesticides or insecticides on agricultural crops can poison flocks of birds that feed on the contaminated grain. Similarly, chemicals that have contaminated popular water supplies can result in mass poisonings of bird flocks. Landscaping chemicals such as fertilizers and herbicides can also be poisonous if used improperly.
