The 1526 is quite a bit bigger?
Your right about that WilliamBos.The 1526 is quite a bit bigger?
I agree The 1526 is quite a bit bigger?
Talked with MF dealer last Thur ,about trading my 2305 on either the 1526 or sc2610 or 2410. Aroung the first of March I asked my JD dealer to give me a price difference between 1023r ,and my 07 2305 w/626 hrs ,fel, mmm,bh plus what's needed to use my 47 blower and front blade. He wanted 9000 different. If I kept my bh and just bought subframe ,,no difference in price..still 9000. He wanted 14000 difference if I bought the 2320... NO WAY!!
So I want to see what MF will offer me on trade but buying a new front blower and blade .
Yes I've had JD for 11 or 12 yrs but when it takes over 6 wks to give me a quote ,and only after writing an email to manager of dealer and to Pres of there company ,, Not sure JD really wants my business.l
Will have to say I seen a lot of things I liked on the MF compared to the JD.

Haha. Gotta stir it up some. I run heavy equipment for a living and our excavator cat 345 will swallow up a 2410 in one bite. When I get off of it and go to a small hoe it makes you fill like you are on a tonka toy. No insults intended. Anything is better than a pick and shovel any day. I wish I had a small hoe at times here at the house. I have no doubt they serve their purpose. Besides its a Massey

I bought a GC2610TLB for use on a one acre property and am delighted with it, but would have preferred the next larger unit if there hadn't been such a big jump in price. My memory tells me another 4 or 5 thousand and then the cost of a hoe on top of that. I'd think that for 7 acres, the larger unit would be worthwhile if the cost is OK.

Problem is the machine is so big it costs a fortune to move it. 32 gallons plus of hydraulic fluid vs 2.7 gallons on the GC 2410Very different machines yet my GC 2410 (or any sub compact\compact tractor) will run circles around the monster in capabilities and versatility. CATs cant mow lawns, hoe a garden, till, remove saplings or small stumps without making a huge mess, cant get close to your home, cant park it in the garage, cant dig 12" holes for posts, cant get 12 hours on a tank of diesel, cant plow snow-I think i'll stop there for now. Anyway-you get my drift-I'll take my sub compact over an escavator any day. If I ever have a big enough job where I need one I can rent it for a couple days
