63 and a bit overcast right now. Should hit 77 degrees and a high probability of thunderstorms. Also, a lot of rain tonight.
We'll see if it actually happens.
Got most of the mowing done yesterday. I'll try to hit the back yard this morning (before the rain/thunderstorms), but it doesn't really need it.
I did fill my trailer up would yard debris...time to hook the chipper up!

A cool and breezy 62 here now and temps are only going to climb a few degrees. It looks like I've got a couple of hours before the storm hits here so I'll get out and take care of the foster dogs who are housed in runs in the lower half of the equipment shed.
A very trusted friend is selling his tiller and I need one so I contacted him and said consider it sold. Of course he lives on the other side of the county on a very narrow dirt "road" that will turn in to a creek with this storm so it will be a couple of days before I venture over there to pick it up.
Several flower beds in raised planter boxes are now complete and looking good. Tomorrow or Sunday I'll head back to the little nursery where I got most of those plants and get more since I have several more raised beds built, just waiting for me to decide on their location and what goes in them.
Got a guy scheduled to come by on Wednesday to look at/repair the broken cables on the garage door.
Time for another cup of coffee, or two, then get going on todays To Do list.

Dude, wear a particle mask and don't eat clippings! As for trimming in the rain, I think the excitement level would be much higher if you used an electric trimmer, preferably a 220v one! :laughing:

73 now, headed to mid 80's again today with storms likely through tonight then a few cooler days before the Eastern Shore summer sets in for about 12 weeks.:thumbsup:

its 49 and sunny,slight chance of rain this afternoon with a high 64.it looks like i wont have to cover the garden tonight,no chance of frost.

Good morning all! Back from visiting relatives and exercising boat. 64F going to about 72F today. We were supposed to have rain yesterday but only got a trace and no rain in forecast. How is one supposed to grow new grass without rain? :confused2:

Thought about the 220v model but the extension cord would get really heavy as the furthest point from an 220v outlet is close to 400 feet !!!

I slept in until 0522... I did not turn on the alarm last night.
It is supposed to be a nice day today, but it is still soaking wet from the massive rain and t-storms yesterday. Driing home from work I was in some seriously heavy rain, so hard that you could only see maybe 2 car lengths ahead with wipers at hyperspeed...
Crazy...
I did get my mower deck welded at a little shop near work. I will post pics in that thread.
I need to do an oil change in my F-150 and I'm noodling just doing it myself, can't be as complex as my tractor, and I used to do it all the time myself 20 some years ago.

Bad morning here. On my boat south CT with very heavy rain and wind. At the dock so its fine aboard. Winds gusting to 33 bgt on Wunder map shows it letting up this am. My CK35 at home should be real clean now what with all the pollen on the ground. Time for some Java.
Wicked windy here this morning- all sorts of tree droppings all over the ground. Rain started around 0520, but not real heavy yet. Weather maps shows a monster storm just off to my west.
Got lawn mowed again Thursday evening- wasn't too bad, but looks better, and just in time for the rain. That GC2310 with the MMM sure does a great job. Did some more string trimming yesterday evening so I should be all set for a week.
At school, kids have mostly "checked out" already.:laughing: Makes it hard the last few weeks, but that's the nature of a middle school. It'll all be over for us on June 19. Won't have to go to work every day for a couple months, but then the pay checks stop, too....

Coffee is almost gone. May need a second pot today. 48 degrees this morning with clouds. Heading to a high of 65 with some showers. Going to the local Kite Festival today. The show and weather was great last year. Hope we do not get wet today.

06-02-2012 Currently 54 degrees. High of 76 expected. Severe thunderstorms yesterday and last night. The areas north of us apparently had it rougher. I will check everything out when our Son and I take our inside dog for her morning run. Best wishes to everyone.

Boy, Friday was a B*tch!! Multiple storms and very heavy rain (per the local weather station, there was 3.03" in Red Lion...about 5 miles away). I've got a Redneck swimming pool in the bed of my F-150.
Not much wind, fortunately...
Well, the tractor and RFM both got a bath. Left the tractor out in case we had an extended power outage...but not even a flicker.
Looks like MossflowersWoods got it worse then we did.

good morning everyone we that stuff yesterday afternoon hard winds not alot of rain i know i got trees down on my fence this morning it's just 52 here now suppose to be 71 today i will get plenty seat time on jd mower today hope everyone a wonderful day
