Ordering 3520 have a question

Ah okay makes sense. Hmmm so i could get away with a 61" bucket than and gain a little digging power. Boy that dealer is slow on getting back to me requested a quote Saturday.

I have the 61" standard bucket as my "all purpose bucket" I also have a 84" Horst High Volume Materials which I think weighs close to 800#. I bought it for snow, which works not too badly, but the high weight of the bucket makes it quite awkward sometimes and leaves little lifting capacity for actual cargo. Keep in mind while the R3 / R4 wheels will only be 59" the mirrors also stick out and if you need to get really close to something the 61" bucket will be very tight. I have not tried the standard 72" bucket, but it might be a good compromise.

In the information not asked for category, I find a set of forks one of the handiest tools I have for the tractor.

I was also thinking forks would be nice. Always needing to pick up things forks would be good for.

Im not too worried about Ag power being slow that seems normal with them ill bug them on Thursday my guess is he went on vacation.

That's not a good sign Raptor. Is it possible that he is on vacation this week?

I just signed the order on a 3720 cab TLB combo and added the MMM with it. I decided to go with the 60" 4in1 bucket to make the tractor more versatile. Obviously, I will be using a bit more ballast with it than I would a standard materials bucket, but the extra things I can do with it make me think it was the right decision. I didn't want to have a bucket, grapple, forks, and debris bucket setting around so I consolidated to 4in1 and 42" forks. Besides, I can always add the other items later if really needed.

Dealer says mine will not be in until around the first of August.

Are your bucket and forks going to be skid steer attach? Is your 4in1 a JD bucket? I'm looking to get a 4in1, but do not want a bucket designed for a skid steer machine.

It is JD Quick attach bucket mount. Part number from deere is AY11H

Here is a link to some of the specs. Frontier 4-in-1 Bucket | Mutton Tractor Attachements

I have read that it will not hold as much material as the standard 5' bucket, but the added use will be welcome picking up brush and other heavy things that need moved.

At less than 4 cubic feet, it is waaaaaaaaaaaay smaller than my 9 CF bucket. Actually I can hardly believe that it is that small. Oh well, I'll just wait and get one next year at the AG Expo. I would have had to modify it to fit my skid steer attach anyway.

I thought that as well, but looking around the web, I found other places that listed the actual volume as 11CF. I think the reason they say 4CF is the volume of the sealed section in the rear. I always read that filling the bucket up with water was how the measurement was made. But if the bucket was closed, it would leak out of the sides and level with the rear jaw volume. That is what I suspect happened on these. I will try and find the other info I saw and post it.

I can't remember what that old model was that I found that JD sold, but here is a Bradco that looks identical to it and they rate it at 11.2 cf. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same bucket.

Bradco 60" Compact Tractor 4-in-1 Multi Purpose Bucket, Model 108196, Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach

Thanks for the other info. $3k is to steep for me. Are you paying that much? So far the best that I have found is a Kubota 4in1 for $2k. For some reason I thought that I had seen one on either a TYM or a Kioti at the AG Expo that lookes just like the OEM bucket and was less than $2k.

Time will tell, I don't really need it anyway, I just want it.

Mine was $2300 through the dealer. EA has to cover that "free" shipping.

I had actually gotten a quote at the Kubota dealer for that same Bradco bucket, and it was $3k there also. Maybe I will try my Deere dealer just to see what he wants. Not all that hard to convert over to the SSQA.

Are you getting the Deere OEM remote for the 4in1, or an after market setup? What is that costing you?

I look at it this way, i have a rear blade now that is 72 inches. That sucker is wide as he.l.l.
I have turf tires however. i will need to stick with a 60 inch bucket. With ag tires and 72 inch bucket, you might not have a problem digging virgin soil as long as you order a tooth bar along with it
