BX Headlights

I just tapped off of the wires up by both aux light and added side and rear led amber marker pod lights. No one will miss me at night plowing snow. Very big rig looking.

Thanks, that gives me something to think about. I have set of leds I have been messing with on the rops but I have not got anything I like yet as far as looks and function.

Most of the HID kits work well in a situation like this. The bulbs are close the size of the stock ones, and the ballasts are remotely mounted. I know that tractorhelp.com has a kit that would work for your BX

Looks like Kubota listened to my post ;) and added new auxiliary lights in the same position as the new Deere 10xx's to the upcoming BX. They appear to be retrofittable. Wonder what they will cost????

I like the looks of that seat but I am not sure about the lights. They kind of look stuck on, not factory. I would like to see some more pictures. They do look like they are LED.

On my 1026r the lights look like that too. They need to sit high like that so you can point them anywhere

Its not how they sit, it is the base.

Are the work lights mounted to your ROPS flood lights? Are the bases adjustable so they can be pointed down a bit? If so, I'd go with a brighter light kit for the headlights and point the work lights down a bit to give you more "workspace" lighting.

That pic is as good as it gets so far. Im curious too. That was from the dealer meetings so Im going to assume that they are a factory part. Yeah they look like they are LED. I checked the Kubota fiche for the new BX25D, but cant find a reference for those lights... not saying they arent there, just I cant find them.

We have a BX2360 with a heated hard shell Curtis Cab. My wife does all the mowing, I do all the snow blowing. As we draw close to summer she often uses the headlights, and they are sufficient for her. Me on the other hand, not so much. In a snow storm with the 60" snow blower going the OEM headlights combined with the OEM Curtis Cab "work lights" are just barely enough to see what I am doing. I do have a SWEET "Whacker" LED Safety bar light that even the plow drivers give me the thumbs up over. Over this past summer I did a lot of research, and over this past week I made some changes. First thing I did change the OEM overhead work lights to the Whacker LED work lights. HUGE improvement. Then today I installed the "Blinding HID kit". First off the installation was a breeze. A little tricky getting the ballasts secure and out of the way, but with a little patience, done. The result... FANTASTIC ! I must say... I think.. I might have gone to far... this might be "overkill'. I am a 'glass half empty' type of person.. so I have two concerns. 1) I am going to monitor the heat the HID's give off in the OEM light lens. We don't want a melted plastic.. and 2) They just might be to bright and may be blinding to on coming traffic when I am blowing snow by the road. Time will tell... but first impressions... these upgradesIMAG0424.jpgIMAG0446.jpgIMAG0447.jpg are just what you need to do if you want to produce a slice of daylight in front of your BX2360!
