is that the new F6b Super-tourer? How does it handle? didn't they lengthen this one by 2" from the last year 1800

Nope . Just a basic 2006 GL-1800 with 5 grand worth of add on accessories. We no longer ride it so it's for sale.

I rode motorcycles in the dirt and on the street from 1965 until last year when health issues put me off of it; gave my Harley to my son. I owned Honda, Bultaco, Triumph, Ossa, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki Harley and maybe another brand I forgot. I really, really miss it.

I crashed a few times, but always got back on one, just loved it too much to quit; not denying danger, it was just worth it to me.

This is my 07 Heritage Softail. I was still riding to work every day with temps in the low 20's up till we got snow a week ago that put an end to riding for awhile.

I have a Harley SE Road King. It is the 3rd Harley I have owned. Started riding when I was 4 or 5 and never gave it up. it is impossible to explain to someone who has never ridden on great mountain roads, What it feels like.

Hi - Having competed in MotorX, Enduro's & a few road races from the late '70's, now I ride bikes for fun restoring & collecting along the way ( with the occassional entry in a vintage/classic race) .

If it was built prior to 1985, is thumping loud, somewhat of an idiosynscratic design & slightly obscure/rare there's a good chance it may find a home at some point in my shed which currently houses the following restored machines (+ others in various states of restoration):-

I got to ride a Husaberg 500 in the California desert once. Smoked a WR 465 Yamaha on a fire road.

Thanks, as you gather big 2 stroke dirt bikes remain my favourites guess it has something to do with reliving my youth.......Those 500 Husabergs are sweet bikes & a future classic for sure, must be so riding them in the California desert.

Back in 2005 I did a 6month solo trek through Cambodia, Laos & Vietnam on a modified WR450F, not exactly the ideal bike for the task but held up really well given the abuse it took - apart from copious amounts of dirt, dust & mud, the WR took everything from massive overloading to submersions (including sinking on a long tail boat) to running on fuel of extremely dubious origins......I have a lot of respect for the capabilites of the WR's

I started riding on the gas tank of my Dads BSA through the cotton fields around Memphis, that was 45 years ago, race district 6 AMA hare scrambles for 10 years, and continue to ride, 4 bikes ready to go in the garage now. Looking back

That's all I can remember....the best ride was the 75 H2 2 stroke triple...but I was only 16 years old, so it was a blast, I love the KDX's and brought home a few trophy's riding those, if I could find a used one in good shape, it would be a great stress reliever at 48! I was lucky to survive my heyday riding, and never forgot the lessons learned,..."When in doubt..gas it"! that has saved me many a time...now I say if ya can't afford the fine, take the lead!

This is my 1982 Honda CB900C. I've had it since '89 and it has been an incredibly reliable daily commuter/light touring machine throughout the years. For the record, I always (all right... except for this time... ) wear a full face helmet when riding. This was a photo-op on a quiet country road with my then 97 year-old grandma to send to the rest of the family. She insisted that they should be able to see our faces, and there's no way she was going to settle for a "parking lot" picture! Who am I to argue with a 97 year old woman? At her age, she's earned the right. She rode her own Honda well into her eighties!

I hope to get another 20 years or so out of this venerable steed. :thumbsup:
