Holy crow. I know exactly what the OP meant. I just happen to think its kind of BS. There is a heck of a lot more going on out there in "Real Life Land". Lazy kids existed long before OP was a twinkle in his great grand pappies eye. And although His take on "Youth" is one way to look at things, it certainly is not the only way or even the best way. It's all smacks of a little to much self importance. To be honest, it's nearly a direct quote out of the conservatives list of catch phrases. OP is welcome to his opinion. And I am within my rights to say I think he's being a bit over dramatic. It's one thing to state that the world is going to S HIT in a hurry because today's youth are lazy and shiftless. But it's another thing to believe this as somehow being a major reason. The world may indeed be heading for H Ell in a hand basket. But lots of folks could do well to look to their own contributions, and pay less attention to what everyone else is doing.

some days its hard to not get in to the same thought of young kids when you have to work with them . and yes i try to teach them the easy way .so listen some think your a know it all and some say your not my boss so pis off you got to love it

i worked from 16 years on out of work for 3 months out of my life i work 160 hr a month when i was 20 i worked 270hr a month and 3 days holidays in 3 years plus built a house at 22 years old and payed for at 25 years of age ..when i was a kid me and my brother worked on the saw mill after school and in the summer every day we were so small it took the two of us to take a 2x4 8 foot to the pile . i am 51 and this year from exmas to new years i worked 28.1/2 hr OT i got one day off . what day that was not sure . right now i have over 400 hr to use this year and i know i wont . when theres work to be done at work play comes latter i have 6 years till i retire . and i can only take 2-3 days off work now .i may go nuts LOL. but i think i am already nuts.. i am not a work caholic i think i am a lazy *** . i start work at 3 am get home at noon worked OT then go cut 2 loads of wood and split 5 in the house by 3 pm lazy lazy lazy i should have stayed out longer ...thats my life . well 1`/2 of it lol you all have a great day today and tomorrow

murphy are you a tree huger too . the kids today need guidance plus a kick in the pants i got 2 boye 28 and 24 and i can out work them both plus they always have something to do or some were to go ....and i am ther helping them when they want to go..... but like there moma says i was not raised that way .. i was and i think i did ok i own 2 houses 6 tractors backhoe side x side grizzly ATV plus one for each boy a truck $6500 a envoy for my daughter in low $4500 plus the inc and gas plus a $2500 ATV .. my one son will take if you give the other one is more like me work his as# off ...kids you got to love them as long as there yours for the others you just put up with them

Your meaning was clear, and I was fairly certain that you knew what he was saying. My response was my way of trying to soften your apparent lack of sensitivity, and diaphanous attempt to belittle the OP.

LOL, Well maybe I need Sensitivity lessons. Or maybe some folks need to grow some thicker skin. Says something about a person that sees an attack around every corner and in every comment. And for the record, the OP's opening comment was not exactly "Sensitive".
