Price Check Pricing for a new John Deere. 5100E or 5101E?

Hey all, i am looking into getting a tractor for snow removal work this year. I am looking into a JD 5100E and 5101E....Cab, Heat, A/C, radio, 3 rear remotes....basically loaded. I have never purchased a tractor before, but I think it will be a good addition to our snow removal business.

Any thoughts as to what price I should expect?

The 5100E he is talking about is the replacement for the 5093E. The difference is the 5100 has Tier 4 emissions. Finding a 5093 is going to be pretty close to impossible now.

Haven't ruled out the 5093E....just started looking and getting ideas from the Deere dealer.
Hopefully I can find a decent used one....but I have a price of 51k for a 5101E, loaded up

It will probably sit in the warmer months.....might try to lease it to a farmer friend of mine.

If that is with the H260 loader instead of the 553 loader stop reading this right now, call the dealer, and give him a deposit. $51k with an H260 is a great price.

I was thinking the same thing!

I didn't realize the 5100E was the replacement for the 5093E.

Sales guy is out till next week....going to see what they can do....thinking about having him find a used unit, 09 or newer. ...and buy it.... maybe a lease for the winter, if that's an option. Found out the New Holland/Ford dealer near me is also a Pronovost dealer. Not really interested in a blue tractor, only because the John Deere dealer/owner is a close friend of my parents. ..plus their support is awesome around here.

The 2013's are much nicer than the earlier models. The cab and control layouts are different. Just my 2 cents but I wouldn't lease a tractor to someone else unless my life depended on it. Letting someone tear up my stuff? No thanks.
