That's a wicked nice setup.
Looks like an expensive door on the shop. NiceTook delivery of a John Deere 4052R with the “snow cab” today! Nice machine. Looking forward to heat and A/C! Replacing my Massey 1742. View attachment 4543935
The pine is from Maine but not from our property. The frame is Douglas Fir from Canada. Barn is 56’X 40’ and is three years old.TConnolly - very nice tractor, and your barn really caught my attention! Very impressed with the post and beam and finish work! Do you have any more pics you can share of the outside too?
is that a pine frame with T&G pine in between and did you have that milled or from your property?
It’s a signature door from the timber frame company. Maine white pine with a Mahogany frame.Looks like an expensive door on the shop. Nice
We also a John Deere 4610 with turf tires. That one goes through the snow very well!Very nice tractor and barn!
I'd address traction in snow by taking steps. Try it as is. My first tractor with R4's worked OK like that. Next two tractors "went under the knife" (hot knife). The grooved tires have handled everything since around 2012.
Very pretty! Timeless construction!Very impressive structure - we had logs milled from our property here in NH 14 years ago and I am still using the 4000 BSF of lumber (white pine and oak) for trim, flooring and building. Don't want to hijack your thread - but here's the barn with metal roof and framed with rough 2x6, then a post and beam summer house we built a few years ago.
It's great to see other barns and buildings done well! Nice work!
