I think we will see more turbos with stricter emissions.

Stopped by the LS Dealer today and learned a lot.
For instance New Holland tractors are made by LS, and have been for a while.
This dealer is a family owned business that sold New Holland's for the last 20 years.
The price is closer to 1/3 less than the Green.

Stopped by my neighbors on the way home. A 400 acre commercial nursery and asked him about his New Holland's. He praised our local dealer and the LS Machine. The nursery owns over 65 tractors with around 3000 hours each and hasn't had a problem yet.

He has some good stories about the local Green and Orange dealers trying to get his business.

I'm sleeping on it tonight.
Lot's to consider.

Isn't it funny how the numbers become suspect when they don't clearly favor the brand being defended?

Using the pivot pins number isn't a mistake as long as you use them for all that are being compared. The difference at 500mm will be proportionally lower for all involved.

Unfortunately, you are mistaken. You never use the pivot pins because you never truly lift anything from that point on the loader. The 500mm measurement should be proportional across all loaders as it is "real work" standard measurement. The key here is for people to understand that 500mm is a truer measurement of your loader's lift capacity than any pivot pin measurement. This way you know what you are actually purchasing.

Do not see why these measurement or lift capacity numbers are suspect when they are pure fact.

I see you are very passionate about the LS tractor you purchased and many of your comments reflect that but you are making a lot inaccurate statements about loader lift capacities, warranties and engines which is a disservice for this new person trying to purchase a tractor.

Ford/New Holland since the 1970s to 2010 sold Shibuara tractors as their compact tractor line. They introduced the LS model compact tractors at the end of 2010 or beginning of 2011. At the end of 2012, they brought back the Shibuara cab version tractors because LS did not have a cab model version to offer plus they outfitted the tractors with the new series II CVT transmission. Now that LS has cab models, it will be interesting to see if New Holland keeps the Shibuara tractors as their cab models. The LS models are denoted as the Boomer 30, 40 and 50 model while the Shibuara models are the Boomer 3040, 3045 and 3050.

You misread what I posted. I said using the pivot pin lift specs, not using the pivot pins themselves, to do anything. As long as you use the pivot pin numbers for anything you're comparing, it's apples-to-apples.

YOU are the one that called loader specs into question, in post #55....not me. Maybe you've forgotten what you've written?

I haven't said anything inaccurate at all. For example, I just said that the LS (and Mahindra) warranties are 5years on power train....fact. I gave numbers listed by various manufacturers....go find an inaccurate spec I mentioned. I'm not only talking about LS, but used them as a single example, and referenced others like Kioti, and Mahindra.

So, you misread what I said, forgot what you said, and claimed I made factual errors I didn't....talk about suspect opinions.

18 inches forward of the pivot that is a better metric for all loaders. This allows a true comparison of the advantages of a self-leveling bucket versus a non-self leveling bucket system. There are distinct advantage to the self-leveling system with lift capacity 18 inches forward of Of the pivot pin.

I am still waiting to hear about these better parts that JD and Kubota use.

No disagreement there....unfortunately, not all manufacturers publish anything but the figure at the pins.

Yes, it is good that these matters come up in friendy discussion. It can be a very daunting task for the first time tractor buyer to sort all that BS out.
